Ok, so I have pic related arcade stick for my Switch, and I play pic related with it.
What are some /v/ recommended games for an arcade stick on the Switch?
I also have some old arcade game collections on the Switch but I'd rather play more recent games.

How's the stick's build quality? I've had my eye on it but I'm pretty wary with sticks as I've had some stinkers in my time.
How does it compare to something like the MadCatz SF4 TE, if you've used one?

I haven't used the BatCatz SF4 TE. The last time I used an arcade stick was the Namco stick for PS1 which also worked for PS2.
Comparing those sticks, the N30 appears pretty solid. 8BitDo claims the stick is customizable but I'm not a hardware guy so I haven't opened it up or tried to fiddle with it.
I haven't had the stick for an extended amount of time, so I can't speak for its long term durability, but if it's true that it fits standard equipment, that shouldn't be a problem.
It feels pretty responsive to me, and works out of the box with Windows as well as the Switch (and presumably Mac OS X but I haven't tested that myself).
If you have any specific questions, I'll try to answer, though I'm not an 8BitDo employee. Just a stick fanboy.

The stick comes with an USB cable, but I only use it to charge it. I like the convenience of wireless stick, and so far can't complain about any extra input lag.

It's still as stiff and slow as the original game after all these years, it has one of the most abhorrent DLC practices in the genre, the animations are on par with a random unity indie game and it's got an extremely low skill ceiling. The only thing the series has going for it is if you have a gore fetish or an ugly girl fetish

I don't have a gore fetish nor DLC fetish. I've pretty much resolved not to get any DLC or extra characters for it. I'll play an ugly girl any day if she's fun to play though.
The movements and skills feel pretty fluid to me, so far. And I don't care so much about the animations they're ok.
I'm still too new to it to hit the skill ceiling though.

MK11 is a mobile game with a fighting game coating, awful character designs and on top of that the story is "woke" garbage. I'd unironically suggest SFV or smashU, despite both being casual trash, for something closer to a proper fg.

Pokken is more like Tekken with different mechanics. Though there aren't any demos of these there are SEGA Ages games (which are Mega Drive games, but are arcade enough for stick), Arcade Archives which is where Nintendo is licensing their arcade re-releases as well as other licenses, and Neo Geo Arcade. I haven't dug too much into the indie dumpster ware yet. Though have a Japanese eShop account I'm sure you can find more arcade-like indie games.

All MK are bad games, including 11. Nothing makes sense. Stupid infinite rejuggles in the early game. Recent games turned into a really stiff, and boring zoning/high/low game.
