I've never played these games, where do I start?

I'd like to say 2 was my favorite game but I recall 1 having the much better Moon/Mars/Russia levels. 2 started off really well but I can't for the life of me remember what happens when you go to the UK and I'm fairly certain it doesn't involve knife attacks.

I hope their remake of DAH1 involves co-op too. What little gameplay was shown, the physics looks good. Not too different from the originals, but the controls seem to be improved and I like the little jetpack dodge that I believe was present in 2.

Also Crypto's voice seems off somehow.

So far all's shown is control smoothness and the jetpack being more of a fun mobility tool.

I enjoyed the first two games, the third was sort of a bummer campaign wise, but oddly enough I felt it was more fun to just take on the military because the weapons were pretty damn fun, especially a big fan of the rainbow bouncing ball of doom, but I think it's because the enemies didn't feel that threatening, or at least not as much as the Majestic agents from 1.

Hey Anon, I may be mistaken as I haven't played the game in ages, but I am very certain that DAH1 never actually left the continental United States. It was the countryside, then a coastal city, then the desert, then Washington DC. Moon and Russia were in 2 and you went to the home world in 3.

No I'm fairly sure there was a Mars/Moon level in DAH1, it's mentioned that there's a race of martians that are antagonists to the furons and you have to go fuck them up or something.

As for Russia, I'm vaguely certain there was a russian spy named Natasha that you go and see in DAH1. I do recall the desert was in fact Area 51, but I don't remember Washington DC one bit.

That's all in DAH2, the first game was just you vs the US and you never left it. It was only in the second game that you started fighting the Russians who were being used by the martians, I don't think there was a mars level in 2 either though there was a moon level.

That said, Takoshima in DAH 2 was my favorite level because of the ninjas and the big Godzilla boss. Was also the first level where you encounter the laser tanks which we're cool, though I miss the Mechs from DAH 1

Start with 1, then play 2. Easy! Some people like the first best, some like the second, but either way it'll feel like a natural, comfortable progression.

Big Willy Unleashed is absolutely terrible, and Path of the Furon is an incomplete Alpha that was only released because the company was struggling to stay afloat. You might be able to squeeze some fun out of them, but proceed with caution.

Naval ships would be easy too. Just make it a building with turrets on it. Doesn't even need to move.

Air Force would also be great. Path of the Furon had the enemy saucers, but they could easily be helicopters or jets.

I just want them to bring back the Mechs from DAH1 they were cool. Also, let us hijack human vehicles while Holo-bobbing/bodysnatching.
