Putting everything in bold is something comic books do (italics will serve you a lot better – they serve their purpose without jumping out of the page and looking like some pamphlet), making words different colour is never, ever a good idea, and if you put something in quotes, then you are already performing the highlight function (the uses are a bit different, but generally, you don't combine them)

There's this. Most people seem to underestimate how prevalent paid shilling and astroturfing are these days. It's everywhere to the point there are places on the internet turning into nothing but shills shilling shills without real consumers. Nowadays you have entire companies dedicated to this. And using aggressive tactics where they attack people critizing and complaining about products is becoming more commonplace.

I honestly see no solution to this other than if countries around the world start criminalizing this practice as a felony, which of course wouldn't fix the problem entirely (many would keep doing it illegally since I believe it would be a crime difficult to get evidence and prosecute), but could mitigate things at least.

Thankfully it's not quite that bad, I know because I studied computer science and my graduate class literally outnumbered natives with pajeets. What they typically do is get an undergraduate degree in Poo in the Loo University, then come over here to get a master's. I had a friend who did the master's program, he said it was a total waste of time – I was far too impatient and badly wanted to work. He said the professors wouldn't be able to teach shit because the pajeets would constantly ask questions about shit we teach in undergrad courses.
