How often is that happening though? Specifically creators getting overruled by kike publishers into creating a product that panders to an audience that doesn't buy games. I don't have concrete numbers to back this up, but it seems that for the most part, the creators themselves overwhelmingly lean liberal (like we see with the music/film/art industries). I think that they're able to engage in a lot of bullshit artistry with the (((suits))) about "reaching new demographics", and using that as an excuse to let their freak flag fly and really pozz up the projects they work on.

In general, I've found that creative types are overwhelmingly liberal. Doesn't matter if we're talking about illustrators, musicians, actors, writers, etc. In my time working around the games industry, I met two other guys who I would barely call conservative - they were libertarian types who mostly just wanted to do their jobs and make cool shit. Almost everyone else, when politics came up, were about the usual lefty shit: fag marriage, infinite immigration of brown people, redistribution of wealth, etc. I think now the liberals of the creative industries are caballing and forcing out anyone who doesn't march in lockstep with them, but another issue is that right-wing people tend to not go into the arts in the first place. Thus, since liberals are the only ones attempting to make media in the first place, their values and viewpoints are the only ones that ever reach the public.

In the East, not so much. A lot of Japanese games get censored simply for having women showing skin. And DOA6 self-censoring to pander for progressiveness is the exception, not the rule. Most devs and publishers getting hit make visual novels and ecchi games and Sony cracks down on those. Some still release on other platforms uncensored, but a lot of them can't afford or are too lazy/greedy to make different versions of the game, so just apply the Sony standard to all versions

There's also that Korean(I think?) indie dev that had anti-China commentary and called their ruler Winnie the Pooh in one of his games. He got pressured into changing it

That's what I'm having a difficult time reconciling. It makes sense in hollywood, where women make up more than 50% of ticket sales, and you can churn out dirt-tier cynical propaganda and rake in hundreds of millions from dumb holes. For non-mobile vidya, it's white and asian males top to bottom.
