Here's my problem with a lot of these modern games and their political messages. They don't think outside the box and solely rely on ORANGE MAN BAD, "The Wall" or Make X Great Again as an antagonistic force. It's not only obnoxious, but it's always done in the black and white kinda way rather than the moral grays we live in.
Like they could be addressing actual issues like how the people in power use refuges from third world countries as a personal voting army in order to keep them in power, how the rapid growths of technology and connections have been abused by government bodies in order to militarize people from their teen years, the disregard of privacy from mega corporations and governments in order to make profit at the cost of basic human rights.
Instead we get called Nazis and get censored off basic platforms, all because we step out from the norm. The Daily Caller situation should be a wake up call to those who care about free speech on the internet, and the Mastercard situation should be the call to grab your guns and fight back against these antagonistic monopolies. However due to the nature of the internet and how it basically made people soft, we no longer have the drive to organize, grab a bunch of guns and start a war against the antagonistic forces that conspire against our nations. Because of the Internet the entire world has become blackpilled to the point where the Chinese citizens are taking the social credit system lying down.
I mainly attribute this to video game companies either being run by or trying to be cozy with these mega corporations like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Apple, etc. While there are still great games out there like Devil May Cry 5, Nier Automata, Cuphead, Ruiner, Sekiro, etc. The fact of the mater is that the "indie" scene is an industry of itself, being run by rich stuck up kids who have no real life experiences and have basically been given shit on a silver platter, who have some sort of victim complex. Basically what we call SJWs. So not only are the developers in these bigger studios being constantly watched and persecuted for their beliefs, they're doing it from both the media and the investors. The THQ Nordic AMA reaction is a good example of the "Industry" trying to pull its weight against companies who don't fall inline. Hell the fucking CEO had to go out and shit talk us, because of the shitload of bad PR he was getting from these mega-corporate shills.
So in a sense the whole "building bridges not walls" message that this game will likely shill is more likely a symptom of Kojima being kicked out of Konami and in turn being pampered to by Sony and Hollywood.

We don't know what the ratio of action to exploration is, but it's going to depend a lot on how they make the actual climbing and walking interesting. Navigating up and over mountains, using the baby and the spinny thing to avoid the oil void, using the weird stilt things, using MGS stealth to dodge patrols etc. It also depends how good the atmosphere is will also help. Honestly, even if it is turns out to be a sony cinematic experience, people are still more likely to be interested simply because Hideo Kojima is writing it. Good or bad, he's certainly gonna bring something weirder and more interesting than their usual setup of "you go girl" or "adopted dad murder time".
