It's time once again for a Pinball thread.

Stuff that happened since last thread:

>Pinball Arcade lost the rights to all its Bally/Williams tables (aka all the good ones)

>Pinball Arcade basically dead now due to the above

>Pinball FX3 ports Skyrim to pinball format. No, not a regular pinball table with a Skyrim coat of paint. This is way beyond that.

>Pinball Simulation is dead, Fantasy Pinball is stronger than ever.

>Meanwhile in the real pinball scene: NEW BLACK KNIGHT TABLE

On that note, currently I need to trawl through all the Pinball FX3 tables and see which are actually worth recommending. So far, *Skyrim* is a strong contender.

Also, because I don't recommend buying all that fucking DLC, just toss this in the steam installation for FX3:

Visual Pinball X tried, to be fair. The problem is that nobody bothered to post tutorials on how tables are made, so you basically have to be autistic enough to figure it out yourself.

Always a classic.

Truth be told, I was going into Pinball FX3 completely expecting it to be garbage. Turns out it's actually fun as fuck, though I've only been playing the tables in Classic Mode.

Classic Mode basically turns off the more "cheaty" features of fantasy pinball, namely the Wizard Powers and Table Upgrades.

As for non-Skyrim tables I recommend, Masters of the Force and Boba Fett are pretty good in the Star Wars category, and The Getaway and Safecracker are top-tier as far as recreation tables go. Also Medieval Madness, but that goes without saying.

Played the shit out of Addiction Pinball. It only had two tables, but it looked photo-realistic back in the 90s.

Pro Pinball was great for realistic flippan. Each entry had one table, but they're tighter than a lot of commercial pins. Timeshock especially is a masterwork.
