I wasn't gonna mention Sailor Moon, but since you broke the ice I'll say that the franchise has had many food-related items and promotions over the years. I've always liked this 2013 drink menu for the SeraMyu 2013. I tried making the Usagi one, but you can't really buy calpis or yakult or any kind of fermented yogurt drink in the west. It had mock blue hawaii, ice cream, cherries, calpis, and cream soda. It tasted… very unique. Enjoyable, but not necessarily good or bad, just very tangy, creamy, and sweet.
Pop-up cafes are really popular in Japan, but most of them are temporary save for a few like the Capcom cafe. Most of the foods that are served there usually look a lot better than they taste, and to even get entry to a lot of them you have to get tickets and stand in line for an absurdly long time. A lot of the staff tend to be nerdy dudes who are into the franchises, which is pretty cool I guess.

In the manga there's a scene where they kiss on the kitchen floor, but it's meant more to be a character turning point for Usagi than a sex scene. You could see it as ambiguous, but there's other contextual evidence, including the tone of the manga itself, that suggest they were just making out, such as how neither of them change their clothes after, or how its never brought up again.
