I'll probably get it, simply because I have a lot of friends and family who still like playing it - and the old Halo 2 clan is more or less back together, but I won't play with them because I simply cannot handle analog stick controls in FPS anymore. Halo 1 was good for what it was, but on the PC we already have the superior modded version. Halo 2 is a half finished abortion, Halo 3 has a shit ending, ODST and Reach are gimmick games and 4 and 5 are dumpster fires.

Quake even in its hayday has been obsolete and surpassed by games like Unreal. Only Quake 1 had any soul and it was massively shadowed by what Doom did. The only good thing was the modding potential, another thing Halo does better than Quake mind you.
