All of that is pretty sloppy. Even the planes should come later. Start with repeated lines. Slow down. Practice ghosting. Pen and paper first, not digital.
drawabox.com isn't perfect as a whole, but the first few lessons are solid for building mechanics and dexterity. Have them start with overlapped lines for a while until the muscles are used to drawing straight lines. Then ghosting to help the mind plot a line before laying it. Then planes to familiarize with angles, etc.
Don't jump into the middle. Build the foundational skills first.

Estates is one of the best skills and you would probably only pass up Logistics for it or not take it if it was late game and money isn't an issue. If you get it on a scout then that scout has paid for itself provided it lives two weeks more. Diplomacy is also overpowered as fuck and outright banned by anyone who plays multiplayer on the regular. Necromancy could be higher but it only being on Necropolis sort of makes it a forgettable thing.

Even so the value of Necromancy means you can incur losses and still come out better than what you went into a battle with. First week, losing 10 skeletons and getting 10 or 12 back is no big deal, rather than, say being Tower and losing 10 master gremlins that you will never get back, and cut the power of your early army significantly.

Its somewhat related to creative OC work I guess,
But, I just find out the main composer of katawa shoujo Sebestian Skaf, just deleted his own youtube channel and his bandcamp, probably few month ago.
Some say its probably of frustration due to his original work would never overshadow his KS work, I mean most of OC music only gain hundreds views while KS and Undertale piano cover gain thousands. I guess it hit really hard to be only known as KS music-guy while your serious non-animu work left in dirt.
I hope he continue his work as composer but its really heartbreaking when artist just suddenly erase themselves and all their works just reasons.

Movie composers at least the ones that aren't shit most likely have piles of stuff that sound pretty good on it's own, but without any context just doesn't get the same following, I can feel that, but at the same time, followings can build around the other shit you make just as easy if you leverage it a certain way;
Danny Elfman is a good example, his movie compositions and his Work with Oingo Boingo have completely different contexts associated with them, and while good music can hold up on it's own, there will be people who prefer one over the other basically based on how they consumed it.
While his music for film are great, I sure as hell wouldn't listen to them on it's own, on a car ride, or something like that, but I can play "Private life" on repeat, no problem.
