Not really, I think the most influence I have seen from Saudis on Japanese media would be the revival of Takeshi's Castle, a fun show about booby traps filled castles or fortresses where contesters wowuld enter and try to not fall or be knocked out by the traps. A Saudi prince I guess ordered for it to be revived and soon it will be shown and played in Riyadh.

>jap stuff is super popular in ME for some reason
It is because of animes being dubbed and translated very early on from studios usually in the Levant during the 80s. A prominent one is the Syrian based Venus Studios, which sold their products to very popular channels like Spacetoon (UAE based channel that used to broadcast western cartoons and anime). So there is a lot of facination with Japan from old times and thus weebs are a lot in the ME

>I read that sandniggers love their fighting games, especially things like Tekken.
Yes, the fighting gay community is strong in KSA, especially in Jeddah. Not only that, but the UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain frequently host fightin gay shit. Especially in Dubai, they bring lots of Japanese players. Hell in Saudi Arabia at a shitty Manga Con they had some prominent Japanese Tekken players.

Arabs always had an interest in vidya and anime but it didnt boom until recently. As for (((esports))) it recently got highlighted especially in Saudi Arabia due to the new Ministry of Entertainment, but they mostly know about FIFA than about other fightin shit. And maybe Tekken.
Overall, I am really shocked at how companies are very late to exploit the Arabian nations since a lot of them have mad cash from oil and the living conditions make them able to spend a lot of cash on hobbies like vidya, so I wouldn't actually be surprised if some rich fuck would try to do something stupid to Crapcom.
