I want a good, mechanically deep, preferably small in filesize management game.

I've played Gunsmith but it's janky as fuck with no depth.

I've played Production Line but it's a little too deterministic and static feeling.

I've played Kenshi but the world is one of the least dynamic I've seen in a non-AAA game.

I've played The Guild II briefly and found the time limit mechanic extremely obnoxious, but I may be willing to try it again if anon recommends it.

I've tried Evil Banker Simulator which frustrates me because it could have been good if the devs gave a fuck. A developer response to the lack of depth was, paraphrasing "This is a $20 game why would you expect depth?"

I've tried Banished and the Banished clone with "medieval" in the title but they're both very shallow.

I've played Game Dev Tycoon to death and it's also pretty shallow.

I've played Reccettear to death and desperately wish that you didn't actually control your faggot adventurers holy shit fuck the dungeon but it's essentially the whole game if you're going for completionism fuck you stupid nips.

What else is there? Give me something to pirate please.

Why does the box art make the dude like some sort of anthropomorphic otter but all the gameplay I see just shows a normal fat guy?

I had fun with Industry Giant 2.

You basically manage the supply chains of various products and move them to towns.

I remember playing that one ages ago, where did you manage to get a download for it these days? Fun game though

Factorio fit the bill?

I got it for free on Steam through my curator I've never updated.

Apparently Rimworld is really good. Have not played it though.

22f641  No.16132031

>>16132016

Not really, Factorio is more about figuring out the optimal ratio between inputs and outputs of various things and how to get them there. I'm looking for making people and things progress optimally (personnel), the bottom line (ensuring profit), and unforeseen events causing strategies to shift.

Get Capitalism 2 it's exactly what you're looking for. You manage every aspect of your company from production lines to issue of stock.

3d831d  No.16132522

>>16132488

Can confirm, Capitalism 2 is a very broad, very good economic sim. Damn hard too, if you're going for complicated industries (I recommend cigars/cigarettes for a newcomer).

There's also a major expansion called Capitalism Lab for it, but I can't speak to the quality since I'm on Linux.

Free Cities with Pregmod allows you to build Zion in the middle east, establish semitic supremacy in the area and subjugate the white race to act as literal living cattle that have to move on all fours after getting the tendons in their feet removed and chemically lobotomized. You can literally milk the goiym dry in giant industrial complexes, until they die from malnutrition and constant abuse, all the while you influence, subvert and take over the nearby city states through socioeconomic pressure, slow and steady buyouts, propaganda and cyber terrorism until you become the sole supreme master of the area where every city state is governed by your children and you own every piece of property available, establishing total monopoly in every available industry and commerce.

The most jewish experience I've ever had by far. I almost felt my nose grow as I played.

I was going to buy it before I learned it's always online. I hear it's breddy gud though.

You could try Gadget Tycoon which is a very realistic simulation of the highly innovative toilet business.

Seconding Capitalism 2. Never tried >>16132522 but if they didn't change the formula it should be good.

One interesting thing they do is for research you can go short-term which enables you to have a slightly better product than the competition by the next quarter or go long-term and rape them years from now if you don't go bankrupt in the meantime. Another cool thing is you can buy/sell to your competitors so it may be worth to use one of their processors in your laptops if they're better/cheaper than what you can make.

The millenium version is in the pic, just unzip it. I never managed to find any of the others. It's in german but there aren't that many buttons so it's easy enough to figure out what's gas and whatnot.

>The millenium version is in the pic, just unzip it.

Just a note for those who can't open that zip. Cloudflare caching recompresses the image and discards additional stuff. Here, first download got me a ~865 KB file with a zip appended, second try is only ~173 KB, without Exif data and ends with the JPEG end-of-image marker. The faggots ignore a hard-refresh, so every additional request gets this 173 KB file, even other browsers on your computer (and probably network) get only this until some timeout. Codemonkey supposedly turned off recompression 2-3 years ago, but it's still happening.
