Don't play any video games for a month!
Or, at least, three weeks time. Use that spare time to do other activities such as relaxing or reading. After that time passes, just grab 3 really easy/brain-numbing games and throw on one of them (Pic is the one I decided to play). Just focus on nothing else and play that for an hour. Once that's done, go through your library and set up a list of titles that you'd like play (At most, 3 per system). Focus mainly on gameplay centered games lacking a story, but if there's a game with a plot that you want to play, then add it to it. And, if there's nothing you want to play, don't force yourself to add anything to the list.
Then, make sure you separate those games from the rest of your library, and have them in plain view, so that you can remind yourself that you want to play them, and they won't get lost among all your other titles.

I think evil would continue, but I think there was a reason for public executions all those years ago. It's a problem Batman constantly faces: Why do we keep locking the Joker up if he's going to break out and kill people? Batman says it's because he's better than that, which is true, but that doesn't change that Joker kills innocents up until Batman stops him again. Batman is aware of this problem, but he rarely confronts it.

I'm trying to say that those attempting to be good people, such as a police officer or someone that stops criminals, rarely seem to confront the fact that 'doing the right thing' means 'don't give them the punishment they deserve.' There's a Punisher comic that talks about this, where he's tracking down a human trafficking ring. Everyone is asking the Punisher to take care of it because they're bound by either personal ethics or legal rules they have to follow, while the Punisher is the only one to actually stop a small part of the problem. He may not have stopped trafficking as a whole, but compared to those who don't do anything, he at least did something.

It's a hard term to describe a person as because it elevates them to an almost supernatural level and puts them on a pedestal of evil that you don't think a person is capable of being because evil is intrinsic and people do things for reasons. For a person to be evil they would have had to become evil at some point, but what caused that? And is a person really evil if there's a root cause of their evil?
That's basically it, it all boils down to elevating the term evil to something greater than a person can achieve
