Yes, the Wii boxing game is really brutal once your reach the halfway point. But it won't help you lose weight, exercising for weight loss is a meme food companies have invented. Oy vey goy, don't you know that you can eat anything you want as long as you work it off. The reason you are fat is because you are not getting enough exercise, not because the shit we are selling you is literally poisoning you.
Cut out sugar from your diet, and by that I don't mean just candy. All hidden sugar makes you fat, slowly but steadily. Look up the values of your food, and if there is hidden sugar treat it as if it was rat poison. I was torturing myself at the gym for years with no success because I had bought into the calories-in, calories-out meme. Then I made a radical change in cutting out the sugar and my weight dropped on its own.
Of course you should still be doing exercise, there are other very good benefits, but exercise for weight loss does not work. The issue of weight gain is much more complicated than "hurr durr, energy in, energy out". Focusing only on how much comes in is completely ignoring that hormones regulate how the coming food is processed.
Take for example water: when you drink too much water your body doesn't become soggy, instead you pass it out through your bladder. This means the water did enter the blood stream, but your body was able to regulate the amount and got rid of the surplus. On the other hand, if the mechanism is disturbed (e.g. by holding your pee too long) it can lead to water poisoning.

Wii sports resort has a running game, that's about the only thing. You won't really burn fat but wii fit does have some good exercises that would be good for a warmup, again, not that great in the end of all things. Calories are easy to measure, and people like to be able to give advice, it gives them the feeling that they are in control of the problem, even if that advice is useless. Calories just provide an upper limit on how much work you can perform (your body is still limited by thermodynamics), but it is too simplistic to explain the human metabolism.
What you want to do is get rid of the fat. So you need to find out why you are fat, i.e. why your body is building up that surplus fat tissue. Fat tissue is an organ the body has to explicitly build up, it's not just dietary fat that got stuck there somehow. Most likely it is a shit diet, but it could also be that you have a sickness. One thing that I know is that if the body has a surplus of glucose it will produce fat tissue to store the surplus safely there, so cutting out carbohydrates allows the body to deplete those reserves, and it will then disassemble the fat tissue as well since it's no longer needed.
I cannot diagnose you over the internet of course, you will have to try to find the solution yourself. And of course consult a doctor and have checkups before doing any crazy experiments.

Most likely. Though to be fair, fruit does contain fiber, which lowers the bioavailability of sugar. In layman's terms, the fiber makes it so your body absorbs less of the sugar in the first place. So eating five whole apples is going to give you less sugar than if you squeezed the juice out of those apples and threw the solid parts away. Bioavailability is also why just measuring the amount of vitamins in a food and comparing the results is not good enough, other components of the food can lower how much of those vitamins you do end up getting into your system. So if you really want something sweet have an actual fruit rather than synthetic sweeteners. Your priority should be getting the added (and often hidden) sugar out of your food, you can then worry about fruits later.
Fruit has another problem: it makes you more hungry. I remember when I was a kid and I was hungry my parents would always tell me to just eat an apple or something, but I always complained that it just made me more hungry. I thought I was crazy, but recently I have found out that it's actually a real thing. Fruit is the only part of a plant that the plant wants to be eaten, so it makes sense to make the fruit addictive to animals.

There is good evidence that most of what we were taught about "healthy" diet is just marketing hogwash. Europeans were not eating breakfast for centuries, unless they were heavy laborers, and now all of the sudden it's the most important meal of the day? And how convenient that there are those cereal companies who just happen to have the perfect product to sell to you. I remember the food pyramid from cornflakes boxes, it had grain products at the bottom (gee, what a (((coincidence)))), the fruit and vegetables, followed by dairy and meat, and finally candy on top. Well, at least everyone can agree on the last one.
While I'm at it, avoid all "low-x" or "x-free" products as well, like low-fat and gluten-free. If "x" is supposed to be in the food you cannot just take it out, you have to substitute it with something. This something usually ends up being sugar. If you cannot eat gluten, then don't eat food that contains gluten. It sucks, but it's better than eating those frankenfoods.

That said, you're not going to burn more than a few hundred calories an hour unless you're doing really intense cardio. Eat less, you fat fuck. You will never outrun your fork. An hour of Wii Boxing is going to burn off a single Snicker's bar at the most.

What's wrong with calories in/calories out? It loses weight. Yes, muscle too, but it is another way to manage weight loss if you cannot exercise yourself all the time. You need to lose some to win some.
Knowing that the way you gain weight through eating is half the battle with becoming a moderate eater. As for sugar, if you eat less (considering less sugary food) it also helps.
