Because a lot of people believe Kojima is a god even Kojima thinks he's a god at making vidya and while you can't deny the guy has a knack for cinematography, little details and outlandish fun ideas he doesn't have the chops to bring everything together and his writing is at the level of fan fiction. Death Stranding might end up being a fun game to play much like MGSV (which was a mess in everything else but the gameplay was solid) but I doubt the game's plot is going to be any good. He's clearly shooting for 2deep4u shit and since journos like to pretend they're smart his game, even if it's shit, is going to get glowing reviews. Normalniggers think it might be good since they are shit at games and Kojima makes movies so they can actually complete his work. Kojimbo should have stuck with making vr missions like the ones in MGS1 and 2. Those are the best Metal Gear content ever made since they are pure gameplay and extremely enjoyable (except for some of the boring weapons missions).
