Sucked ass. They throw everything onto graphics, but dialed down the destruction. Instead of having gigantic map filled to the brim with stuff to crash, you're now jet-packing through the big empty from one copy+paste settlement to the next. They had no money left for the story, so it's just a really low effort slide show and all the side content are terribly boring challenges. And as if those weren't annoying enough, they tied the upgrades to those challenges, so you have to do them. Lastly…remember finishing JC2 at around the hundred hour mark? This time you'll get to 100% in under 30 hours.
They literally chose to destroy their fan darling franchise, so that they could release that slightly above mediocre Mad Max game. And instead of learning from their mistakes those greedy kikes did it again, while working on JC4 and Rage 2 simultaneously (which has nothing to do with Rage, but is an asset flip for Mad Max, because they don't have the license anymore).

This. One of the problems with 3 is that the game takes itself a lot more seriously than 1 and 2. The first two games were crass, politically incorrect, with caricate, over-the-top side characters and never tried to paint Rico as a hero (he's just a glow-in-the-dark CIA nigger). While on 3 they try to make him some sort of tragic hero, not sure to which point since I got fed up with the game less than halfway through and never finished it.
Additionally, despite much higher system requirements, it doesn't even look that good. Graphics are just one step above JC2, and with a few graphics mods JC2 actually looks much better.
