This game is Lawbreakers-tier except Lawbreakers had much better netcode. You can defend and deny all you like but most people realise this pretty quickly leading to an ever declining playerbase. What the fuck is he supposed to be? It just doesn't fit in at all. Yes, the outfits, "attachments" and other cosmetic items are another thing that's Lawbreakers tier. With the low player numbers there's no way they're making any profit off it so the game must be on life support.
The characters overall are ugly, disjointed, random, inconsistent and just poorly done. Again here's another key similarity to Lawbreakers, it's one of the reasons why the game is failing and yet the fanboys completely deny it. I'm not saying the designs are as bad as Lawbreakers but they are in the same ballpark.
Oh, and if you check the Quake Champions wikia, no one has bothered to update it. Just like Lawbreakers.

The forums were overrun with whiners who didn't like things like double jumping or being able to change directions quickly and move around fast and the devs catered to that feedback. As a result the old arena shooter gamers looked at new UT and just dropped it, since it wasn't a proper shooter anymore. Trust me, I've had discussions before on "Hey, there's a new UT!" "Yeah but it plays like ass and they're moving in the wrong direction. It's not worth playing."

There's no mod support, no LAN support, no dedicated server support, no custom server setting support, and none of that shit is liable to ever change.
