This game coming up isn't a No More Heroes game. It's a Hyper Light Drifter/Bastion/Transistor game. A real NMH has third-person action that takes into account horizontal and vertical swings, and the story has attitude with memorable characters. Combat is engaging, and you barely have to dodge-roll until the game starts kicking your ass.
This "NMH" is a top-down arcade beat-em-up with no character. It might as well have taken a page from Saints Row IV with how Suda 51 just puts Trevor in a virtual video game world. Oh and I guess Bad Girl's father comes out of left field and is a playable character for some reason.
Point is, Suda's suffering from Miyamoto syndrome, as in he's getting old and has lost sight of what he wants to do with NMH. As much as I wanted a third game, I didn't want this.
