I went to Cuba last year. The doctors are not world class, I heard some definite horror stories from locals, like easily treatable diseases killing people because of doctor error and inability to get drugs. Every hospital visit I've had the wait was under an hour, I've never been misdiagnosed and the only thing medically that I've ever been fucked on was the dentist fucking up one of my teeth irrevocably and dentists aren't socialized literally the only problem I've ever had with medicine was with private medicine.
