>Favorite Game?
My best memories are with Mario Party 4. My little sister and female cousins always use to love playing it with me. I had every Mario Party from 1 to 8 because those games were the only ones they were ever any good at. But then the MP4 disc got all scratched up and unreadable. Then the Mario Party 2 cartridge became my current favorite. The cosplaying characters probably give it that little extra charm, I suppose. Whenever I have guests or family over, they generally agree on that.
>Favorite Board?
I don't really have a favorite board tbh. I just remember some boards better than others. I remember the Koopa hotel one in MP4 because me and my cousins always wanted to make the hotel as big as possible (before the tsunami destroys it). Maybe the ghost one from 4 as well. I also remember the cowboy, space, witch, and pirate boards from MP2 pretty well. It's hard to forget those outfits and themed boards. Maybe the ice and undersea boards from MP3, too? Can't really remember 3 very well.
Music wise, the rainbow castle from MP1 had the best music in the entire series though. Hands down. It was made by the same guy who composed the soundtrack for Chrono Trigger.
>Favorite Minigame?
Which one comes to mind the most….. I know Mushroom Mix Up (vid related) was my favorite as a kid. It returned as "Hexagon Heat" in MP2, but hasn't shown up in later entries ever since. I could name a few other possible choices but fuck it, let's just go with Mushroom Mix Up for now.
>Favorite Character?
Mario as a kid. Yes, I was pretty generic and unoriginal. It's probably Wario now because of his shit eating grin. It's the perfect face for when you stab your friends in the back. He's also a sore winner when he wins and a sore loser when he loses. Just like me.
>What do you wanna see in a new Mario Party?
Less of the gimmicks that made 5-8 hard to return to? More costumes like in 2? I don't really know anymore. I stopped at 8 and haven't played any of the newer ones. Never had a reason to pick them up. Me, my cousins, and even grown up little sis have college, jobs, lovers, and pets that take up our time now. We hardly ever see each other anymore and can't play a single round of Mario Party like we use to. Sucks, but that's how life goes.
