dsfix can't get the game to hit 60fps reliably, only near it. engine has too many bottlenecks to hit it consistently so even with 60fps on dsfix (enjoy falling through the floor and the animations looking all kinds of fucked up) you'll never be at 60fps in most scenarios. They didn't fix basically any bugs, and in fact introduced more, the frame rate is still tied to game speed meaning that ladders can still send you into outer space rarely. Aside from that the remaster is so lazy they left in junk data, that was removed from the original version, in the game.
Graphically they added motion blur on a ton of random shit that didn't need it, swapped engines to one that looks worse.
Online play is even worse of a shitshow than it was before, so as opposed to SL matchmaking it now is "best item available to you" matchmaking, meaning you got a Blackknight weapon? Have fun fighting only twinks.

In 7th gen era games and earlier, motion blur was typically camera based. Moving objects don't cause blur, only a moving camera does, it is fullscreen, the sampling rate is low, and to compensate the intensity was usually higher to emphasize the effect. This is what causes you to write "motion blur is shit" today, because that version is shit. Nowadays with more budget for large GBuffers, per object motion blur is widespread, mostly because it comes cheaply if you already use TAA anyway. With per object motion blur, every frame the engine renders a velocity buffer which contains a 2D motion vector for every pixel, indicating how much and in what direction it moved, compared to the previous frame. Then, for each pixel in the final image, the image is sampled multiple times, how many is determined by the amount of samples, along that motion vector, and the colors are averaged out. The effect is really pretty good, if the intensities are tuned well, it's better than no motion blur.

The objectively best anti-aliasing there is is supersampling, SSAA, which means fully rendering many sub-pixels for each pixel, then averaging their colors, which is also by far the most expensive one. MSAA, multi sampling anti-aliasing came along, which is built right into hardware and while it doesn't render each pixel multiple times, it checks it multiple times for coverage in the hardware rasterizer stage to average out coverage of geometry in a pixel. This works great for edges which would be jaggied without it, but it does not work on subpixel detail like small glossy details, an intricate texture and so on. It also does not go along nicely with deferred rendering which is the current industry standard. So temporal anti-aliasing came along, which is like supersampling, but stretched out over time. Each frame, only one pixel per pixel is rendered, but its actual position is offset by a tiny jitter. That way, say 8 different subpixel samples are made, just like in SSAA, but spread over 8 frames. Now, each new frame, the image is blended with the previous frames which are stored in the "history buffer".
For this effect not to break in motion, the previous pixels have to be reprojected on their current positions, which is what the velocity buffer previously mentioned is used for. Additionally, checks have to be made on whether the history data is still valid, or if it has to be discarded. All in all though, this technique results in very great looking images at a relatively low cost, it goes smoothly with deferred rendering, it fixes subpixel aliasing which MSAA or FXAA can't, it fixes "temporal aliasing" which means flicker of some sort over time, and it allows other effects like screen space reflections or ambient occlusion to use less samples because it inherently soothes the image out.
