That's what makes conan exiles so different from another survival game, Ark Survival Evolved. Even if you're a lone wolf, you actually stand a chance against large groups. In Ark you're just fucked up a creek without a clan to grind out a foothold… Its so bad that there were once entire servers blocked off by the alpha tribe , until Wildcard finally got involved and started punishing folks for spawnblocking.
Its quite the social experiment, Ark Survival. From total anarchy on a massive island comes complete consolidation of power under one tribe, which becomes the de facto state authority of the island. Sometimes rudimentary governments formed between major tribes, or when one tribe took over the entire island and became the true alpha.

Arguably not a survival game first and foremost but really its just the logical consequence of minecraft with more actual, medical autism added into the mix

Pretty enjoyable for a couple runs at least if you're playing with some friends, but the nonexistent combat system and the bullshit RNG enemy encounters can really ruin it. You're also either forced to read the wiki or find out some run-ending features by trial and error, like winter, summer, several bosses and so on.
