>I like strategy games, please name me some good ones.
I assume you're referring to real-time strategy and not turn-based strategy:
>Dune II
>Red Alert 2
>Warcraft 2
>Warcraft 3 for the custom maps
>Starcraft 1
>Myth 2: Soulblighter
>Homeworld 1 (play the classic, NOT the awful "remaster" by Gearbox)
>Rise of Nations
>Populous: the Beginning
>Sacrifice
>Age of Mythology (play the classic, NOT the awful remaster)
If you want turn-based strategy recommendations:
>Heroes of Might and Magic 3 (Classic, do NOT play the remaster - you can get the classic off GOG) Fantasy TBS
>Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (install kyrub's patch on the classic, yitzi's patch on the xpac, and pracx patch on top of that to make the thing run properly - play it in classic first so you can experience it in its full glory, since the xpac weakens the experience) If there's only one TBS you'll play, play this one.
>Disciples 1 & 2
>Civilization 2
>Civilization 4 for the mods
>Age of Wonders 2: Shadow Magic (it's a stand-alone, you don't need Wizard's Throne for it)
In general, all remasters are buggier, more crash-prone, and have had their gameplay subtly or not-so-subtly modified for the a much worse experience. Do not play them.
