Massive is working on an Avatar game and one secret project. It's either The Division 2 (probably not, the Avatar project is YUGE) or WiC2. I think this gives us our answer.

what's the difference between clicking "host server" and compiling your own build of the server? I don't get it. It doesn't seem like the same as idtech where you can modify it to get cool stuff in the engine, it's just the server code. The only case I can think of is the master server not being able to be modified initially and now it is.
