You can get all of that from a visual novel. If we were to describe a game, why not what the gameplay is based around? Harvest Moon is something that's comfy as the setting and atmosphere also compliment the slow paced farming and socializing. You can go at your own pace and there's no rush unless you decide to play optimally.

As for the gameplay it fixes all of the major problems Celceta had and gives you more mechanics/content to work with. But if you preferred solo adventure Ys games you'll still be uncomfortable.

Zwei 2 is kinda in the grey area. Sure there is technically two characters but they play like you are controller one character; the stats are grouped together and you switch characters instantly when using each of their attacks. It's still my single player GOTY.

The Wii version is devoid of what makes the game artstyle unique instead it's pretty much celshading with a metric ton of bloom and blur, even the PS2 version without the filtering doesn't look as bad.

Well my opinion is that the filter of the PS2 version reduce the clarity of what happens on screen, so it works with blurry looking 480i since it's not gonna be very clear either way so might as well make the blur come from an artistic choice
But once you increase resolution you actively reduce the benefits of doing so with those filters so it seems logical that you would tone them down
That said even with the full filtering it doesn't look too bad at higher res, the low res 2D assets really hurts it the most.
