Just watched the first episode.
It wasn't actually that bad.
Aside from the black boyfriend which even looked gay as fuck, and the main actress appearing somewhat asian to fuck with white women…
The terrible parts of it included terrible angles, jump cuts, and shaky cam on very still scenes. I hate that illusion shit. It's almost like all tv has that editing and filming style now.
I hate anonymous fighters attacking the girl. I hate how she moans and groans as an android. She's either "feeling the lightning" which takes over her body where she's pure android or she's not. The grunts are fucking retarded.
The cringe about Picard loving Data is real. They went way too ham. Why would Picard be dreaming so much. And the dream sequences are too fucking much, but they wanted to have data in there. GAY
The twist at the end of the first episode was intriguing, so they did that well, but it's almost too far of a jump, too much gay mystery. It's definitely not episodic which just annoys the fuck out of me. It almost becomes a challenge, like "fuck you, producers, I can avoid watching this show." And turning off the tv is winning.
