Doctor X refers to doctors who are willing some times illegally to try experimental treatments that have a high probability of failure. Of course if they succeed then they become standard practice. The show never make it clear if Doctor Michiko is Doctor X but every one thinks she is. The first 3 shows of season 6 are pure genius. I don't think I would have been able to understand them without first watching the first 5 seasons and the specials. The show is filmed in Korea and there is an underlying theme of Koreans making fun of Japanese culture. Shows can be found on onkissasian.com

It's a good show in regards to it's diversity and showing the inner workings of the medical world. Though I'm anti big pharma, It's rather fascinating watch.
