Psychedelics are god tier. They're the one drug that has such a lasting, positive effect. They are proven to be highly effective in psychotherapy. Meaning they can treat depression well.
I mean fuck. I took acid two months ago and it had me in TEARS OF JOY to be alive. I haven't felt suicidal since.
Also a great advantage of LSD and psilocybin specifically is that they cause virtually no physical damage. Only if you really heavily abuse them, in which case it can fuck with your mind. But that's the thing. Just don't abuse them. ez

oh and MDMA is also proven to be effective in psychotherapy just like LSD. Just to let you know
I mean the idea is to have a trained professional there to talk shit out with you. But the problem is that the Government is fucking retarded and outlawed these substances because of yellow journalism. It really pisses me off.

That's a pretty wicked gif man, glad you agree honestly I'd assumed you a were a big fan due to the fact you like dxm. I've heard of studies where they were attempting to treat PTSD patients with them so I'd say they're definitely a positive thing at least for the most part. I'm glad you're well versed in drug knowledge I don't have anyone to talk about it with, what were they doing with MDMA in regards to therapy? I generally fry about once every 3 weeks to a month for safety, pretty silly the majority of people still view them as harmful substances, and man I get irritated just thinking about the fact that alcohol is a legal and socially acceptable drug whereas LSD is treated like a poison

>I get irritated just thinking about the fact that alcohol is a legal and socially acceptable drug whereas LSD is treated like a poison
Well I'll stop you there. That's a logical fallacy of "x is bad, so y is good" I understand what you're trying to say there, but if you argue that on a professional debate level it will fall flat. So be careful
I didn't read in to the MDMA study too much. I just know that its effective.
I don't even do LSD that much, but I do DXM quite a bit. Like once every two weeks. DXM isn't as good as LSD and the like as far as helping goes, but it does help IME. Dis-associatives make you hallucinate, after all. So it can give you lessons and make you see in a different perspective.
For example, I came to the realization I needed to spend more time outside. So I started exercising more, lost some weight, and it felt so damn good. DXM HAS helped me in many ways, but even with LSD and stuff it can only help certain people. But generally psychs are gonna help more so than dis-associatives. And dis-associatives can cause more physical damage cause of the syrup DXM is contained in for example. But if you got pure DXM its really not that bad. I mean its not great, but not as bad as people think
And yeah I really cant stand when people are ignorant about drugs and assume they're bad for people. Like for example, opiates actually dont cause much physical damage to the organs at all. Its more so the APAP that is highly toxic to the liver, or if you OD. But people will refuse to believe this cause they are ignorant dicks
>>7672
Yeah I avoid benzos cause they are proven to be more addictive than opiates and cocaine. They can also kill you from withdrawal, literally. Nasty shit

I've tried benadryl and nutmeg "recreationally" before, I understand how bad a bad trip can be
But as far as psychs go, the rule of thumb is, "set and setting" just go in to it with a positive attitude and 9 times outta ten you dont bad trip

Is it really that fallacious considering one has been proven to have negative consequences while the other is in essence a tool that provides no negative effects on the body? I've got to look more into the MDMA studies I guess then I'm pretty curious. >>7676
Yeah I'm not arguing that, you can have a horrible time on mushrooms but the chances are lower due to the positive body high it provides while acid is pretty neutral. >>7677
If you're into strong and weird hallucinations it can be really fun, I remember one time I was on a while drinking which is a recipe for death by the way but I was having intense visual distortion and fucked up range perception, I thought a fence was right in front of me that was actually around 20 feet away. I blacked out shortly after that though and was told i puked all over a burger ville floor and the walls

Well yeah you can very well argue the positive effects of the drug. But dont use "x is bad, so y is good" as the basis of your argument. Thats what falls flat in pro-legalization debates with weed
That ambien experience sounds cool though. I could've tried it once, but my friend was totally dick about it. He got all on his high horse about drugs and shit, despite letting me drink many times with him. I mean I understand he was in the right to say no cause it was his, but the way he said no was so dick
>>7683
Well yeah. Just dont do it with people you dont like then. Thats part of set and setting.
I get what you mean. I trip alone on DXM all the time. Its my preferred way to trip. I've only ever tripped with others on LSD, but that's more of a social experience if you ask me. DXM is much more introspective

Well yeah cause your body becomes physically dependent on the drug to sleep. And without it, it takes time to sleep without it. I would rather have insomnia that lasts for 3 days straight than to regularly take benzos. Those things are fucking evil imo

but like yeah insomnia is the least of your worries for benzo withdrawal. I hear that its basically like a living Hell and its worse than opiate withdrawals. Which is why I dont bother fucking with them at all.
When I OD'd on speed I had one dose of ativan at the hospital. Next day I was really craving more. Its fucking ridiculous.
But luckily I didnt get any more.

It was the first time I tried adderall and got a NASTY crash. So I asked if I could have some ambien. "oh so you think taking a pill will help reverse what another pill did?" I mean yeah… people use downers all the time to come off speed. So he basically got all self righteous and didnt let me do it because of his principles
>>7689
I mean yeah, I hear people mix benzo + opiate and some alcohol and have a lot of fun. And I can take opiates at times without feeling addicted. It is about moderation
Problem with benzos though is that after one dose I already wanted to do it again. Which is bad and a quick course to a living Hell. Which is why I dont bother at all
Speed addiction was bad enough, and as bad as it is, its not even physically dependence forming. So you gotta wonder how bad it is to be hooked to a drug that can do that to you

Yeah that's logical but I don't think ambien would help in that case unless you legitimately wanted to sleep. Sounds as if your friend is a pretentious dick, all 3 of those together really? I've heard of benzos and booze but not opiates on top, I'd imagine that feel fucking intense. I've also heard benzo addiction can be one of the worst you can suffer through if you're in deep enough. Random question, what music do you two listen to while high out of your gourd? Specific bands or songs would be appreciated
