Hello.
I don't watch anime often but when I do I'm very picky. Gantz is the best thing I watched till now and would like something similar in regards to following (to get a hold of what I like about it in the first place):
What I want:
>Present day setting (plz no samurai, history, non-existent world or space battles)
>Semi-serious plot (plz no growing swords ala Naruto)
(battles in Gantz were alright, but they're not the focus for me)
>Semi-serious, preferably young (but not kids) protagonists that don't scream all the time
>Bonus for big tits/nice ass love interest
>Bonus for main character being a lifeless NEET like me
In short, I suppose any semi-serious present-day anime with NEET main character that discover heroism and (tries to) get the grill will do.
What I don't want:
>DBZ-like combat
>lolis
>overuse of them facial expressions japs push everywhere
Additional information: I also liked Death Note, and Kaiji was alright I guess (I don't mind the plot being within a game).
