What do you recommend for video players?

I've been a VLC fag for a long time now but /a/nons have brought it to my attention that I am doing it wrong. So I asked /tech/. And they, in turn told me to ask /a/. And so, here I am.

Please help me fit in with all the cool kids, onegai shimasu!

VLC is perfectly fine. Download GOM player and use both in tandem, and you're set.

Well, on VLC you can't do the non-subtitiled screenshot thing and you can only cycle through frames forward, not backward. From my understanding, at least.
