berserk golden age movies end with despair, you could then watch the new series which continues a revenge quest.

the quality is not the greatest, especially with the series though.

Wolfs rain fits this more than anything in my opinion. The whole show if a group fighting through despair and loss for the vision of paradise.

Underrated as fuck in my opinion. One of the most impact ending I've ever watched as well.
