I'm mid 40s and my friends set me up with their 18 year old daughter when she was still in high school. They noticed something in me that made their daughter settle down. They had an awful time with her getting in trouble. She would wreck department stores and vandalize shops in town. Surprising she wasn't fucking everything, doing drugs, drinking, and other nefarious shit. When she's around me she becomes focused and more aware that what she does can harm her. I think it's because I talk to her and tell her why things are the way they are and explain why she should want to mostly conform to the rules. So far after almost a year, she's stable, working, healthy, staying out of trouble, going to community college in the fall, and being a loving girlfriend. I know she won't commit to me and she will eventually move on and have a life. I just hope I can teach her to realize life can better. Yeah we get freaky but she's not like most young girls. She isn't sex crazed thankfully.
