I got shadowbanned off Reddit minutes after asking literally this question on r/Feminsim: "Why are men still expected to abide by traditional gender roles if women don't have to?"
Literally that exact wording. I pointed out that I wasn't trolling and wrote a well thought out question comparing for example how men are expected to be tough and pay on dates, but women aren't expected to be feminine. I compared how women can have an abortion, but men can't have a 'financial abortion'. A few minutes later I realized nobody was responding to my posts. Eventually I realized my posts and comments weren't showing up. Eventually I logged out and try to find my account and it said "No such account exists." I never got a notice I was banned. I thought I could post the whole time.
I also saw a BBC News article about a man who had the same thing happen to him and he kept posting for a year before realizing. I hate Reddit.

If anyone has been on reddit for a minute, he will know that the algorithms promote posts with certain wording and from certain users, even off the new queue (applies to the "hot", "top", "home", "rising", "popular", and "all" sorts, which of course are the main pages, strongly influence what gets the most points, and hence what gets shown on pretty much every page and feed. Pure artificially manipulated propaganda much of the time from one of the top 5 websites for content in the world.

I would bet over a million dollars that things are regularly manually manipulated by reddit staff also, like the points and visibility of very popular posts and comments. Of course there was the "spez" thing on thedonald, and there's tons of other times various other related things were documented happening.
