Mainly autism, I'd guess. I used to cope by isolating myself. But then I realized that that was making me miserable, so I tried to break out of that self-isolation. I did manage to make a few friends, but any attempt at getting a relationship failed miserably. Then I had a mental breakdown because I was forcing myself to do too many things at once, and I lost most of the friends I had made because of it. Further down the road, I did manage to reconnect with some of those old friends. But women? Even the ones whom had shown interest in the past? They're all ghosting me now.
Yeah, I'm weird, a failure, and generally worthless. I know that. But not getting a reply when you wish someone you used to know well a happy birthday or happy new year still hurts.
