Getting kids to fink on parents is a favorite tactic of dictatorial regimes everywhere, for a good reason: it works. Kids are natural blabbermouths.
So if it isn't already being used to try and catch parents who aren't wearing a useless face diaper or breaking a 'lockdown' (aka permanent, warrantless house arrest) then I guarantee you that it WILL be used in the near future.
If your local Scaryname-Flu Enforcement is still allowing children to go to public schools, drill it into their heads to either give them the answer they want or don't say anything. Don't talk about the one store mommy goes to where masks aren't required, don't talk about the midnight trip to grandma's house next month.
And if this sounds unnecessary or paranoid, please be reminded that this tactic has already been used in recent history the USA to get kids to fink on gun-owning parents. Go back a few more decades and it was also successfully used for even more nefarious purposes in 1930's Germany.
