From what I gather, it depends on what they did and what they'll do to correct it.
If they harmed a child they get death, and if they help with the plan we can spare their reputation.
Others like Lindsey Graham have been freed and if they play their part well enough we can forgive them..
I don't know if this is accurate. Just my best guess.
