Hello everyone, I'm Anon and I have a story to tell, true story. This just hit me not too long ago. Thinking back just before 9/11 I worked for a company that repaired electrical and electronic devices on ships. So one morning I go in, Coast Guard was doing their annual inspection on a ship and the general alarm would not work. Boss says take these parts and fix it and your colleague is already onboard. Drive out, replace parts, didn't work. So I ask for schematics, get schematics and start troubleshooting with my voltmeter. Meanwhile everyone has their arms folded and hand on chin on the bridge. Colleague is watching my every move. Start troubleshooting and a high ranking official stands next to me, made me nervous, "sir you're making me nervous and I'm trying to concentrate" so he backs away. These dudes were all up in my shit. So we test without announcement to the crew because I had it disconnected and found out what was what, ground, trigger, source and load.
Almost had it but I had the source and load backwards on the relay. Once it hit me I said OHHHHHHH I see how it works now, I had these wires backwards. Hooked it up correctly, checked schematics again, looked at colleague and said, that should work now.
They notified crew and sure enough, it worked. I said would you like me to replace the new relay with the old one to check it? yep. Ok, it worked too. They asked me to step outside because I didn't have a clearance so I did.
Out on deck smoking a Marlboro and my colleague came out and his eyes were as big as golf balls, me being young and naive didn't know what was up. He said they want to know what you did, I said bro, the way that shit was wired it would have never fucking went off. He said stay here and don't tell anyone. I was like ok, Not wanting to get a fellow employee fired for being a dumbass and whatnot. Because I'm cool like that.
Anyways he comes back out and says the super wants you to go back to the shop and I said I need my tools and he says I'll bring them out to you.
They send an officer out who carried my tools and escorted me off the ship.
Asked to drive directly back to office, no stops, I did. Back to shop super is on the phone. Gets off phone pulls me aside and asked me what happened. Told him, showed him on our training device what I did. Everything was normal until he asked me, do you think anyone could have done this on purpose? That's when I got scared because I had a relative on that ship. And I said well if they wanted to and if they did they fucked that shit up real good because it would have never worked.
Super said ok, don't tell anyone about this, come organize this shit on the shelves. Little while later colleague 2 comes out and says hey lets go outside and have a smoke. Asks me if I fixed it and I said yes, asks how did you fix it I said mother fucker if you want me to tell you what happened you need to go have super come out here and tell me that it's ok to talk to you about it. Super comes out and says it's ok.
Mind is spinning right now, tell him all about it and then got really angry because I had family on that boat. And I said I don't know if you got people from the military of govt up in that bitch or on the phone, I don't give a fuck,, but you go back in there and tell those mother fuckers that I am going directly to my family members house after work and telling them about this shit. Told colleague 2 name and rank.
Go to family members house, spilled the beans and I was scared as shit. He was high ranking and a really good man. Anyways we had dinner and he pulled me aside and said you did a really good job, you don't have to worry about getting into any trouble.
Next day colleague 3 comes in and asks about it, nope, you want to know what happened on that ship you go talk to super. These guys were all ex navy with clearances, I'm just a young guy good with electronics.
Completely exited my mind until recently. Because 9/11 happened VERY soon after I fixed that general alarm, thinking within a week or two, could have been days I can't remember. Now my mind is thinking that 9/11 was supposed to be much bigger that it turned out to be. How many other ships had the general alarm disabled? What was the plan? Hijack all naval vessels at same time? Fuck dude.
So 9/11 could have been much much worse technically.
Anyways, thinking back, airplane 1 strike, airplane 2 strike, airplane 3 crash, pentagon, cruise missile. We've all seen the videos of a missile hitting it, being launched from the navy ship. Is that when the white/black hats began? Navy was like fuck you, we know what you're up to and we have the weapons, pentagon fuck you, want a taste, here, have a cruise missile bitch and let me know if you would like some more cuz we got tons of this shit mother fuckers. Is that what happened? Could be….
