Every person has two distinct and separate personalities: the individual, and the group.

You yourself (whoever you are) display one personality when in view of others and another one when alone.
When you look at the condition of the world today, it is the sum total of x billion people all sending forth a fake personality to go live their lives. As such, power struggles are the only things that can and do result. They are disguised in a billion ways but they are truly all there ever is when you get more than one person hooking up.
People think that the only way to save the world is with mass solutions that affect billions of people at the same time, in the same way. Nobody has ever been able to make it work and nobody ever will, primarily because you are not dealing with real people in the first place; you are dealing with fake actors designed to collect power for the people creating these facades.
They don't want to be saved. If they did, do you think they don't know what to do? In this day and age? Everybody hears the cries of racism and sexism and political oppression. You can't escape it. Nobody is unaware. You cannot raise awareness when you are already at the point of absolute awareness saturation.
There is little people don't know about mass solutions. They don't want them, and they just don't care.
The solution is so obvious that people just can't accept it. The solution is to let go of mass solutions. The Hundredth Monkey is a very valid theory. Live the individual solution. Nobody asked you to save them. Your own delusions and ignorance and above all arrogance has deluded you into thinking not only that you can, but somehow you got it in your head that you must.
Whatever approach you're trying to take - which typically involves destroying the bad guys - it's been done a million times before over a million billion years. It has never, ever, ever worked. The more it fails, however, the more people cling to it.
Who is so incredibly insane that they cannot even manage their own lives but they still think they are somehow qualified to save the whole world or entire nations? Just eliminate the oppression! It's that easy!
It's been done over and over and over again. Every year sees one or more evil regimes toppled. And nothing ever changes. The new regime is even worse, every single time.
