US Special Operations Forces Continue Mission in Ukraine Amid Russia Tensions

US special operators have been in Ukraine for several years to train troops

US special operations forces are continuing a mission to train troops in Ukraine amid heightened tensions with Russia, Stars and Stripes reported on Wednesday.

An undisclosed number of US special operators has been training Ukrainian forces inside Ukraine for several years under a mission led by US Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR).

“The bottom line is that our training mission in Ukraine is ongoing,” said Lt. Col. Juan Martinez, a spokesman for SOCEUR. “We continue to view our mission in Ukraine as part of an ongoing effort in enhancing Special Operations Forces capabilities as a keystone for regional stability.”

There is a renewed focus on the presence of US military personnel in Ukraine as the White House is claiming Russia is preparing to invade the country. Besides the special operations, there are also about 100 US National Guard troops in Ukraine.

US training and support for Ukraine’s military is a major point of tensions between the US and Russia, and the cooperation goes far beyond the special operators’ mission. Since the 2014 US-backed coup in Kyiv, the US has provided about $2.5 billion in military aid to Ukraine.

Last week, Yahoo News reported that the CIA has been training Ukrainian paramilitaries at a base inside the United States since 2015. The New York Times reported that the Biden administration is considering backing an insurgency in Ukraine if Russia invades.

Israel signs multi-billion dollar deal for submarines from Germany

Israel closed a deal yesterday to buy three submarines from German industrial giant thyssenkrupp [sic] for €3 billion ($3.4bn), the Times of Israel has reported.

"I would like to thank the German government for its assistance in advancing the agreement and for its commitment to Israel's security," said Defence Minister Benny Gantz. "I am confident that the new submarines will upgrade the capabilities of the Israeli Navy, and will contribute to Israel's security superiority in the region."

Part of the cost of the submarines will be met by the German government in accordance with an agreement signed between the two countries in 2017.

Red Cross cyberattack compromises data of more than 515,000 'highly vulnerable people'

Data is from people "separated from their families due to conflict, migration and disaster, missing persons and their families, and people in detention."

More than 515,000 "highly vulnerable people" had their personal data compromised this week after a sophisticated cyberattack targeted the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The humanitarian agency announced Wednesday that the attack "compromised personal data and confidential information" from people "separated from their families due to conflict, migration and disaster, missing persons and their families, and people in detention."

Data from least 60 Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies globally were affected by the attack. It is unclear who is responsible, but the agency does not believe the data has been leaked yet.

"An attack on the data of people who are missing makes the anguish and suffering for families even more difficult to endure. We are all appalled and perplexed that this humanitarian information would be targeted and compromised," ICRC's Director-General Robert Mardini said. "This cyber-attack puts vulnerable people, those already in need of humanitarian services, at further risk."

The now-compromised data was used by the ICRC to reconnect family members who have been separated by disaster or conflict.

The agency was forced to close down its Restoring Family Links program due to the attack. Mardini said the group reunites an average of 12 families every day through their work.

went to that barber a couple of times and one time, before talking about getting a job e.g. as gardener with my family (I guess my mom mostly) I saw a car from a gardener company (the kind of companie that also does little construcion works in the garden, GaLa Bau in German) with a guy inside parked where I had parked my car and parked in a spot next to the road on some yawn in a rather unusual way.

so I thought I should approach and ask for a job. I did. he gave he his business cart.

I called the next day I guess and we agreed on me showing up for what I thought was an job interview (later turned out he thought of it as doing one day work as test, had not brought any change cloth or dirty shoes or stuff).

when driving there early morning a song in the radio made me turn off my car like 1 km away from my place and claim it to be broken down, I even did some funny stuff and funny claiming annoyed faces to give the impression it broke down.

I thought for some kind of reason either Trump and Mil or super secret societies or even God himself (back then was a mixture of thoughts most of the time) wanted me to do that for some kind of super important reason.

maybe I thought that I needed to show ww masons that I am able to read signs (obviously today I get it that it seems pretty controlled and obviously you are not to control me)

so I walked to a subway station close by to go to the job interview by public transport.

on the way there, like less than 1 km, I noticed people "seeing" me and "giving me hints".

that made me not go to the station (overground subway kind of, dunno how to say in english) not on the side on the street I had to go but to the other getting into a train away from the gardeners company.

people nodding their heads, looking strangely in a direction or something made me do that. ( I guess at that time it became less Trump/mil and more God who was "steering" me).

in the subway train people looked at me (at least some) in a way I considered them to be there to give me hints. that made me get off the train after a few stops. for tat particular hint or hints I was confused as sme people seem to be wanting me to stay in the train (me thinking that, they nodding or changing direction of view in a way that is just odd) and others wanted me to get off.

also I had no ticket and the ticket postmarking/labeling machine started making some noise (with they do every now and then) made me think to get one. that did not work, not sure now why, maybe bc no maschine to sell tickets in the train, maybe not working maschine, mayby no change.

when getting out one particular guy was looking in a way as he was to say "ok, dude, please do not leave the train, if you do if fail in my super secret mason or anto mason mason task and I will get big problems. he had wet eyes as if he was starting to cry why basically looking afraid and shocked.

but another girl gave the hint for getting out and I had no ticket. so I got out and felt bad about that guy.

so I felt bad about it and just few meters from where I met that guy and he said that very strange thing that no one would say in that situation but fittet 100% what I was thinking about, I walked by a big board with the saying on it "one life for freedom". so that saying way either the quote from some guy or refering to a guy having devoted his whole live to freedom. and I took it as "one mason is gone, don´t care about it, just go on, freedom itself is far more important than one guy".

so I kept going to that interview but in a way that I did not take the best route and always tried to get hints or, what I was thinking, make masons successfully solve their super secret task of me going this or that direction or lighting a cigarette or putting it out (sometimes after not having finished it at all so it must have ssem pretty odd aswell).

to shorten that story, I ran across my whole town, sometimes indeed running bc seeing people in red jackets giving me the hint to go "red" when I already had my jacket closed and was warm already.

even got a blue toenail from that.

and of course did not get the job bc when we stopped a the material place I was suggested to go leave the car and go around the building asking someine for a light, and there was someone with a light, but when going back around the building the guy was pissed of and left bc I left the vehicle w/o saying anything.

did not care for the job I I thought to have understood that this whole day was not about getting the job but about something else, maybe making masons see that I am a super great guy that can see signs. obviously I now think of it as being controlled while at the same time this just made possible what happened after and happened to this day. (again, you have to see it in a G way)
