The First Amendment allows Americans to express ideas without risk of prosecution. Follow any religion, openly criticize your govt, etc.

These rights don't exist in many countries, for example China.

However, private companies can still choose not to serve customers for almost any reason.

Web server = private company

Social media = private companies

Yes it's shitty when certain companies or platforms refuse service to law-abiding citizens. But it's NOT technically censorship, and it's NOT a violation of the First Amendment.
