Define 'Government'

Latin roots.

Gobeirno (govern/control)

mens (mind)

What does it mean to take control of the government?

What does it REALLY mean?

Mens means "cleverness or a tool", gubernare means "to govern or rule". Method-of-rule or way-to-govern is a better translation.

If you were Roman and were meaning "to take control of someone's mind and actions", you would use "animus" instead of "mens", so something like "gubernanimi".
