Health Issue Explored As Cause of Plane Crash That Killed Trump Donors' Family, Scrambled F-16s

As investigators continue to comb through the wreckage of a private plane that crashed Sunday in Virginia, the theory that is emerging is that the pilot and the three passengers on board the aircraft died of hypoxia.

CNN reported Tuesday that just 15 minutes after the plane took off from Elizabethton, Tennessee, en route to Long Island MacArthur Airport in New York, the flight control officials lost contact with the Cessna Citation jet.

The loss of communications occurred when the plane was at 31,000 feet.

The jet continued up to 34,000 feet and then flew past its destination of MacArthur Airport, then turned and started heading back south toward Washington, D.C.

The Cessna was believed to be on autopilot.

Six F-16 were launched from three bases to intercept the plane, White House National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby told reporters Monday.

The Washington Post, citing unnamed sources, said that an F-16 pilot told investigators that he saw the Cessna pilot, identified as Jeff Hefner, slumped over his seat in the cockpit.

The F-16 pilot encountered the Cessna about 12 minutes before it crashed in the mountains near Waynesboro, Virginia.

“Whatever happened, happened at altitude, which is a critical location to lose pressurization. The higher up in altitude you are, the less time you have to get on oxygen,” former Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board investigator Jeff Guzzetti told the Post.

Pilots have “30 to 60 seconds to don oxygen masks if the plane is depressurized or risk falling unconscious” due to hypoxia, according to CNN.

“The onset of symptoms is so subtle that it’s hard for a person to tell when it is happening to them. They might begin breathing at an increased rate, feel dizzy, lose coordination and experience impaired judgment,” the news outlet said.

“When a brain goes without oxygen for too long, the part of the brain that helps with respiration can stop working and prevent a person from breathing.”

Investigators are looking for the “black boxes” containing flight data, though the Cessna private plane was not required to have them.

Using information from the cockpit recorder, NTSB concluded a 1999 plane crash that killed professional golfer Payne Stewart was likely caused by hypoxia.

Guzzetti told The Post that the NTSB will be seeking to determine what caused the cabin to depressurize on the Cessna on Sunday and why Hefner was not able to put on his oxygen mask before going unconscious.

The plane was registered to Encore Motors of Melbourne, Florida.

In addition to Hefner, company owner John Rumpel said those who died on the airplane included his daughter Adina Azarian, his 2-year-old granddaughter, Aria, and the child’s nanny.

Rumpel is a prominent contributor to Republican candidates and causes, including former President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sen. Mitt Romney, and numerous state Republican parties, according to Open Secrets.

Ukraine rebuffs Vatican peace attempt

An envoy of Pope Francis visited Kiev in search of ways to end the conflict

The only end to the conflict that Kiev considers acceptable is the Ukrainian “peace formula,”President Vladimir Zelensky told the Holy See envoy Cardinal Matteo Zuppi in a meeting on Tuesday.

“Ukraine welcomes the willingness of other states and partners to find ways to achieve peace,but since the war is on our territory, the formula for achieving peace can only be Ukrainian,” Zelensky said after meeting the papal emissary in Kiev.

Zelensky added that he discussed the situation in Ukraine and the humanitarian cooperation with the Vatican “within the framework of the Ukrainian peace formula,”and urged the Holy See to join the efforts to pressure Russia.

Zuppi arrived in Ukraine on Monday, in what the Vatican called a “search for paths to a just and lasting peace.” In addition to Zelensky, he met with other Ukrainian officials, including parliamentary commissioner for human rights Dmitry Lubinets.

“The results of these talks, like those with religious representatives as well as the direct experience of the atrocious suffering of the Ukrainian people as a result of the ongoing war, will be brought to the Holy Father’s attention,” the press office of the Holy See said in a statement on Tuesday evening.

This is the second time in two months that Zelensky has declined an offer by Pope Francis to mediatein the conflict with Russia. After his meeting with the pontiff at the Vatican last month, the Ukrainian president told Italian media outlets that Kiev was only interested in its own vision of peace.

“It was an honor for me to meet His Holiness, but he knows my position: the war is in Ukraine and the [peace] plan must be Ukrainian,” Zelensky told talk show host Bruno Vespa.

The “peace formula” in question is a list of Zelensky’s demands first revealed in November 2022, ranging from Russia’s withdrawal from all territories Ukraine claims – including Crimea and the Donbass – payment of reparations, war crimes trials for the Russian leadership, and Ukraine’s membership in NATO.

Moscow has rejected Zelensky’s “peace platform” as delusional. Russia understands thatany peace talks will not be held “with Zelensky, who is a puppet in the hands of the West, but directly with his masters,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told reporters last month.

(Zelensky is arrogant beyond measure, he will receive whatever punishment or penance is required.)

CDC Warns Deadly Bacteria That ‘Kills Up To 50 Percent Of Patients’ Detected Across US Gulf Coast

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is sounding the alarm on a deadly bacteria that purportedly kills up to 50 percent of people it infects and is now endemic to the US gulf coast.

Burkholderia pseudomallei is likely lurking in soil and the stagnant waters across the 1,600 miles from Texas to Florida, warns Dr. Julia Petras, an epidemic intelligence service officer at the CDC.

The bacterial infection induces pneumonia and sepsis and can be fatal. Other symptoms of B. psuedomallei infection include joint pain, fever and headaches in the early stages.

Globally, the infection kills approximately half of the people it infects. Others are asymptomatic and fight off the pathogens with natural immunity.

“Doctors are now on alert for the disease, which can initially be misdiagnosed as another infection,” Petra said. “It’s estimated that there’s probably 160,000 cases a year around the world and 80,000 deaths,” Petras said. “This is one of those diseases that is also called the great mimicker because it can look like a lot of different things.

“It’s greatly under-reported and under-diagnosed and under-recognized — we often like to say that it’s been the neglected tropical disease.”

Burkholderia pseudomallei is native to topsoil and muddy freshwater in South East Asia and northern Australia.

In 2021 Burkholderia pseudomallei was found in three patients in Kansas, Texas and Minnesota.

In 2022, the CDC detected the bacteria, also known as B. psuedomallei, in the US for the first time in soil from the Mississippi coast,

The agency cautions the deadly pathogens are now lurking across Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama and Florida.

Over 60,000 Android apps secretly installed adware for past six months

Over 60,000 Android apps disguised as legitimate applications have been quietly installing adware on mobile devices while remaining undetected for the past six months.

The discovery comes from Romanian cybersecurity firm Bitdefender which detected the malicious apps using an anomaly detection feature added to its Bitdefender Mobile Security software last month.

"To date, Bitdefender has discovered 60,000 completely different samples (unique apps) carrying the adware and we suspect there is much more in the wild," warned Romanian cybersecurity firm Bitdefender.

The campaign is believed to have started in October 2022 and is being distributed as fake security software, game cracks, cheats, VPN software, Netflix, and utility apps on third-party sites.

The malware campaign predominantly targets users in the United States, followed by South Korea, Brazil, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France.

Stealthily installed to evade detection

The malicious apps are not hosted on Google Play but on third-party websites in Google Search that push APKs, Android packages that allow you to manually install mobile apps.

When visiting the sites, you will either be redirected to websites showing advertisements or prompted to download the searched-for app. The download sites are purposely created to distribute the malicious Android apps as an APK that, when installed, infect the Android devices with adware.

When the app is installed, it does not configure itself to run automatically, as that requires additional privileges. Instead, it relies on the normal Android app installation flow, which prompts users to 'Open' an app after it is installed.

Furthermore, the apps do not utilize an icon and have a UTF-8 character in the app's label, making it harder to spot. This is a double-edged sword, as it also means if a user does not start the app after it's installed, it likely won't be launched after.

If launched, the app will display an error message stating that the "Application is unavailable in your region. Tap OK to uninstall."

However, in reality, the app is not uninstalled but simply sleeps for two hours before registering two 'intents' that cause the app to launch when the device is booted or when the device is unlocked. Bitdefender says the latter intent is disabled for the first two days, likely to evade detection by the user.

Russia may be plotting to blow up the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, Ukraine has warned, after explosions at a major dam and hydroelectric plant caused mass flooding in the Kherson region and sparked a humanitarian disaster.

A series of blasts yesterday morning caused the critical Nova Kakhovka dam, which lies along the Dnieper river in Russian-held territory, to partially collapse and led to 'catastrophic' floods.

Some two dozen towns were overrun by the deluge with footage from the region showing entire villages submerged and houses swept away.

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia of detonating an 'environmental bomb of mass destruction', saying authorities expected up to 80 settlements to be flooded and urging the world to 'react'.

'This crime carries enormous threats and will have dire consequences for people's lives and the environment,' Mr Zelensky said, while US security officials warned there would likely be 'many deaths' as a result of the floods.

The Kremlin has blamed Ukraine for the blast, claiming it was a ploy by Kyiv to distract from the launch of a major counteroffensive Moscow says is faltering.

But Mr Zelensky's top security official Oleksiy Danilov dismissed the allegations and said that Putin's next step may be to attack the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which lies just up the river from Kakhovka and relies on water from the dam to cool its reactors.

Mr Danilov told The Times that since Putin has entered 'a fundamentally new stage of Russian aggression... [and] had the hydroelectric power plant blown up on his demand, he's ready to do anything'.

The destruction of the dam on the Dnieper river, which separates Russian and Ukrainian forces in southern Ukraine, is set to displace tens of thousands of people.

The cause of the blasts is not yet clear, although Ukraine warned late last year that Russian forces had mined the dam as they retreated from Kherson and Ukraine's state hydroelectric company said the Kakhovka plant was destroyed by an explosion in the engine room - suggesting it was attacked from within rather than by external strikes.

Ukrainian authorities said 17,000 people were being evacuated and a total of 24 villages had been flooded.

'Over 40,000 people are in danger of being flooded,' prosecutor general Andriy Kostin said, adding that 25,000 more needed to be evacuated on the Russian-occupied side of the Dnieper.

'The evacuation will continue tomorrow and in the coming days - by bus and train,' presidential adviser Oleksiy Kuleba said last night.

Terrifying video shows houses being swept away and entire towns submerged by the deluge.

Village streets and fields near to the dam have been swamped by flooding as a Russia-installed local mayor warned that the water level would continue to rise for another 72 hours and claimed he expected 40ft high floods in some places.

Last October, Mr Zelensky accused Russia of planting mines at the dam, warning that its destruction would spur a fresh wave of refugees into Europe.

Kyiv said 150 tonnes of engine oil had spilled into the river, and the agricultural ministry said about ten thousand hectares of farmland on the right bank of the river would be flooded and 'several times more' on the left bank.

Western powers blamed Russia for the damage, with EU chief Charles Michel calling it a 'war crime', while Nato chief Jens Stoltenberg said the dam breach was 'outrageous'.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that the country's military and intelligence agencies were probing whether Russia blew up the dam, but that it was 'too soon' to say definitively.

UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres called the attack 'another devastating consequence of the Russian invasion of Ukraine'.

'Today's tragedy is yet another example of the horrific price of war on people,' he said.

US intelligence officials alleged to have intelligence proving Moscow was responsible for the catastrophe - though the White House said it 'cannot say conclusively' what caused the destruction.

Observations have also revealed another ring, an outer ring, one that is more faint, different in color, not closed, and relatively complex. What caused this outer ring is currently unknown. So article one of the constitution gives Congress the power of the purse, not the executive branch.

As you said, this should be well understood by everybody.

My understanding is that the typical policy for settlement agreements with the federal government is to deposit those funds into the Treasury or distribute them to victims of the alleged action by a defendant.

However, as has been noted here under the Obama administration, the federal government began the practice of diverting the settlement funds to politically favored third party entities or programs that the administration supported all while avoiding congressional oversight.

The Trump administration rightfully did away with that practice.

But within his first handful of months on the job, Attorney General Merrick Garland revived the use of settlement slush funds presumably to reward politically expedient groups. So Mr Shu, with that context in mind, can you provide us any specific examples of the, of the federal government using these settlement slush funds in contravention of article one authorities.

The probably the most egregious was the mortgage fraud settlements with the bulge bracket banks.JP Morgan Chase Bank of America City, et cetera. But Mr Chairman, I would respectfully disagree with you on the issue that began with the Obama administration. As a matter of fact, under President Carter, the, his justice department had written a memo that stating that, you know, that these third party payments were not proper. And as I mentioned before, even under a Republican administration, the Bush administration 43 when Chris Christie was a US attorney, he engaged in this reprehensible behavior. So, and in fact, you mentioned General Garland rescinding General Sessions order. And that's especially interesting because if it wasn't a big deal a as some people say, then why would he have to rescind it? He rescinded it because it was an important function for them, an important funder of their allied groups and make no mistake, they go to allied groups, whether it was Chris Christie or whether it was Tony West, it's going to allied groups. And I would add that in general Garland's recession memo, he actually in my view misstates the law.

He had cited an OLC memo from 2020 and which in turn cited an OLC memo regarding the settlement in the Canadian softwood lumber case and the reason that's important is because number one, the 2020 memo to General Barr, it was merely a form and legality memo about the CFR, it was not analyzing whether the miscellaneous receipts Act actually requires prohibiting a third party settlement. So that's, that was sort of a misuse of that particular memo, the Canadian softwood lumber settlement. Again, I believe General Garland misapplied that case. And the reason is because in that case, the United States was the defendant, the United States was not the plaintiff.

From all indications, Twitter has engendered a bit of good will with conservatives by presenting itself as the free speech social media platform.

While far from perfect, since Elon Musk took over Twitter, the platform has, at the very least, not been actively hostile to conservatives — a remarkably low bar to clear, but one that Twitter appears to have cleared regardless.

Take, for instance, the unmitigated success story that The Daily Wire documentary “What Is A Woman?” has been on Twitter. After some confusion about being throttled by the leftist remnants of Twitter’s old regime, the movie was eventually released to all on the social media platform:

Passage of the Bipartisan Budget Agreement

On Thursday, I delivered remarks on the Floor of the House of Representatives in support of the Bipartisan Budget Agreement.

Instagram, the popular social-media site owned by Meta, helps connect and promote a vast network of accounts openly devoted to the commission and purchase of underage-sex content, according to investigations by The Wall Street Journal and researchers at Stanford University and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Pedophiles have long used the internet, but unlike the forums and file-transfer services that cater to people who have interest in illicit content, Instagram doesn’t merely host these activities. Its algorithms promote them. Instagram connects pedophiles and guides them to content sellers via recommendation systems that excel at linking those who share niche interests, the Journal and the academic researchers found.

Though out of sight for most on the platform, the sexualized accounts on Instagram are brazen about their interest. The researchers found that Instagram enabled people to search explicit hashtags such as #pedowhore and #preteensex and connected them to accounts that used the terms to advertise child-sex material for sale. Such accounts often claim to be run by the children themselves and use overtly sexual handles incorporating words such as “little slut for you.”

Instagram accounts offering to sell illicit sex material generally don’t publish it openly, instead posting “menus” of content. Certain accounts invite buyers to commission specific acts. Some menus include prices for videos of children harming themselves and “imagery of the minor performing sexual acts with animals,” researchers at the Stanford Internet Observatory found. At the right price, children are available for in-person “meet ups.”

The promotion of underage-sex content violates rules established by Meta as well as federal law.

In response to questions from the Journal, Meta acknowledged problems within its enforcement operations and said it has set up an internal task force to address the issues raised. “Child exploitation is a horrific crime,” the company said, adding, “We’re continuously investigating ways to actively defend against this behavior.”

Meta said it has in the past two years taken down 27 pedophile networks and is planning more removals. Since receiving the Journal queries, the platform said it has blocked thousands of hashtags that sexualize children, some with millions of posts, and restricted its systems from recommending users search for terms known to be associated with sex abuse. It said it is also working on preventing its systems from recommending that potentially pedophilic adults connect with one another or interact with one another’s content.

Alex Stamos, the head of the Stanford Internet Observatory and Meta’s chief security officer until 2018, said that getting even obvious abuse under control would likely take a sustained effort.

“That a team of three academics with limited access could find such a huge network should set off alarms at Meta,” he said, noting that the company has far more effective tools to map its pedophile network than outsiders do. “I hope the company reinvests in human investigators,” he added.

Technical and legal hurdles make determining the full scale of the network hard for anyone outside Meta to measure precisely.

Because the laws around child-sex content are extremely broad, investigating even the open promotion of it on a public platform is legally sensitive.

In its reporting, the Journal consulted with academic experts on online child safety. Stanford’s Internet Observatory, a division of the university’s Cyber Policy Center focused on social-media abuse, produced an independent quantitative analysis of the Instagram features that help users connect and find content.

The Journal also approached UMass’s Rescue Lab, which evaluated how pedophiles on Instagram fit into the larger ecosystem of online child exploitation. Using different methods, both entities were able to quickly identify large-scale communities promoting criminal sex abuse.

The file hosting service is unknowingly allowing pedophiles to circulate indecent images of underage children, which according to a report by The Atlantic, ended up being discovered by youngsters.

It only emerged when teenagers running meme accounts stumbled across the hashtag #dropboxlinks.

Some young Instagram users have tried to combat the ring by posting memes to alert other disgusted Instagram account holders, in turn prompting them to report the misuses of to moderators.

Pope Francis went to the hospital on Wednesday for surgery on his intestine, two years after he had 13 inches of his colon removed because of an inflammation and narrowing of the large intestine.

The Vatican said Francis, 86, would be put under general anesthesia and would be hospitalized for several days.

The pope was undergoing what the Vatican said was a “laparotomy and abdominal wall plastic surgery with prosthesis” to treat a “recurrent, painful and worsening” constriction of the intestine.

A laparotomy is open abdominal surgery. It can help a surgeon both diagnose and treat issues.

“The stay at the health facility will last several days to allow for the normal post-operative course and full functional recovery,” the statement said.

Nearly 1,000 local residents have been evacuated from the flooded zone, Vladimir Leontyev has said

At leastseven peoplewent missing in the Russian city of Novaya Kakhovka after a local hydroelectric dam was destroyed on Tuesday in what Moscow claims was a Ukrainian strike, local authorities said on Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters, Vladimir Leontyev, the mayor of Novaya Kakhovka, noted, however, that preliminary information indicates that those peoplemay have been rescuedfrom the islands on the Dnieper River that went underwater.

“We are talking about herdsmen there… There were seven people that we know about for sure”, he stated, adding that search and rescue efforts are still underway.

The mayor went on to say that theriverside settlementof Korsunka had gonecompletely underwater, while in the settlements of Dniepriany, Krynky, and Kazachiy Lageri the water hadreached the buildings’ roofs.

He also stated that on Tuesday the local authorities had managed to evacuate more than 900 people from the flooded areas, adding that this number includes17 people who had been stranded on the roofsof buildings in an attempt to evade the gushing water.

Meanwhile, Leontyev noted that the water level in Novaya Kakhovka decreased by35cm (1-1/2 ft) overnight. A day earlier, local emergency services said that the water in the area had risen by asmuch as 12 meters (40 ft).

The authorities in Russia’s Kherson Region, where the dam breach took place, declared a state of emergency across the entire territory. Vladimir Saldo, the local acting governor, said that in totalbetween 22,000 and 40,000 peoplewere located in the disaster area.

Moscow and Kiev traded accusations over who is to blame for the incident, which triggered mass evacuation efforts on both sides of the Dnieper River.

Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov accused Ukraine of “deliberate sabotage” in a bid to deprive Crimea of drinking water and deflect attention away from Kiev’s botched counteroffensive in Donbass.

However, Ukraine denied responsibility, with President Vladimir Zelensky claiming that the facility was damaged in a Russian “terrorist attack.”

Stanford University and UMass Researchers Uncover Disturbing Pedoph*le Network on Instagram

In a joint investigation conducted by The Wall Street Journal and researchers at Stanford University and the University of Massachusetts Amherst, it was revealed that Instagram, the social media platform owned by Mark Zuckerberg, is serving as a hub to “connect and promote a vast network of accounts openly devoted to the commission and purchase of underage-sex content.”

Unlike traditional forums and file-transfer services associated with illicit content, Instagram’s algorithms actively encourage and recommend such activities, effectively connecting pedophiles and guiding them to content sellers, WSJ reported.

The researchers discovered that Instagram enables users to search for explicit hashtags, such as #pedowhore and #preteensex, connecting them to accounts advertising “child-sex material for sale.”

The promotion of underage-sex content on Instagram violates both federal law and Meta’s established rules. In response to inquiries from The Wall Street Journal, Meta acknowledged the issues within its enforcement operations and established an internal task force to address these concerns.

Instagram’s user base has been consistently growing since its launch in 2010. Facebook bought Instagram for $1 billion in 2012.

In many countries, the distribution, possession, and promotion of child sexual abuse material are criminal offenses, including the US. If a social media company is found to be knowingly facilitating or promoting such content, they may face legal consequences, including fines and other penalties. Additionally, their platforms may be subject to investigations and potential shutdowns or restrictions.

Writer and researcher @JoshWalkos discussed the disturbing report in a series of tweets:

“A Meta spokesman said the company actively seeks to remove such users, taking down 490,000 accounts for violating its child safety policies in January alone. “

“In 2022, the center (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) received 31.9 million reports of child pornography, mostly from internet companies—up 47% from two years earlier.”

CNN Fires CEO Chris Licht After Just 13 Months

Chris Licht, the embattled CEO of CNN who took a wrecking ball to many of the network's leftist anchors as part of an image rehabilitation, is out of a job after just 13 months, Puck News first reported.

His tenure at the network was marked with controversy, including the shuttering of the network's failed CNN+ streaming platform at the request of CNN's new owners who were unsure about a standalone digital product, a move which resulted in scores of layoffs. The network's financial picture has also been worsening - generating just $750 million in profit last year, including one-time losses from CNN+, down from $1.25 billion the year before.

As Axios notes, "Licht’s leadership became untenable following a damning profile about him published by The Atlantic last week."

Meanwhile, one day before the Atlantic story was published, longtime confidant of Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, David Leavy, was named Chief Operating Officer of CNN.

According to The Atlantic, the Town Hall with former President Donald Trump was the last straw;

When he took the helm of CNN, in May 2022, Licht had promised a reset with Republican voters—and with their leader. He had swaggered into the job, telling his employees that the network had lost its way under former President Jeff Zucker; that their hostile approach to Trump had alienated a broader viewership that craved sober, fact-driven coverage. These assertions thrust Licht into a two-front war: fighting to win back Republicans who had written off the network, while also fighting to win over his own journalists, many of whom believed their new boss was scapegoating them to appease his new boss, David Zaslav, who’d hired Licht with a decree to move CNN toward the ideological center.

One year into the job, Licht was losing both battles. Ratings, in decline since Trump left office, had dropped to new lows. Employee morale was even worse. A feeling of dread saturated the company. Licht had accepted the position with ambitions to rehabilitate the entire news industry, telling his peers that Trump had broken the mainstream media and that his goal was to do nothing less than “save journalism.” But Licht had lost the confidence of his own newsroom. Because of this, he had come to view the prime-time event with Trump as the moment that would vindicate his pursuit of Republican viewers while proving to his employees that he possessed a revolutionary vision for their network and the broader news media.

Trump had other ideas.

For 70 minutes in Manchester, the former president overpowered CNN’s moderator, Kaitlan Collins, with a continuous blast of distortion, hyperbole, and lies. The audience of Trump devotees delighted in his aggression toward Collins, cheering him on so loudly and so purposefully that what began as a journalistic forum devolved into a WWE match before the first voter asked a question.

In March, FTVLive suggested that Licht didn't have long at the network - with one insider telling the outlet that he "doesn't have his ear to the ground." A spokesperson for the network refuted the report, saying that Licht and Saslav aren't on the same page.

FACT CHECK: DHS Touts Drop in Migrant Encounters After Title 42, Ushers 50K in Through ‘Lawful Pathways’

The Department of Homeland Security claims the Biden-Harris administration’s comprehensive plan to manage the border after the expiration of Title 42 resulted in a significant reduction in encounters at the Southwest Border. Migrant arrests by the Border Patrol have dropped from nearly 11,000 per day to 3,400 on average between May 12 to June 2, 2023. The statement ignores some facts that need clarification.

In a statement released on Tuesday, DHS claims, “unlawful entries between ports of entry along the Southwest Border have decreased by more than 70 percent since May 11.” That statement alone may be quickly challenged when read literally. Unlawful entries consist of not only those migrants that are apprehended by the Border Patrol but also those who evade detection and capture known as got-aways.

As reported exclusively by Breitbart Texas, during the month of May, more than 50,000 known migrant got-aways were reported by the Border Patrol. That number is an approximation reached using manned and unmanned aerial platforms, sensor and camera technology, and old-fashioned boots-on-the-ground tracking by Border Patrol agents performing routine patrols. For the month of May, an average of more than 1,600 migrants managed to unlawfully enter the United States each day according to a Border Patrol report reviewed by Breitbart Texas.

To accurately state with any specificity that unlawful entries between ports of entry have decreased or increased would also need to factor in the impossible task of accurately calculating the unknown, or undetected got-aways. Some of those who fit this category may include those migrants who are encountered away from the immediate border region by other law enforcement agencies as they attempt to move into the interior.

As reported by Breitbart Texas, law enforcement sources are reporting migrant smuggling traffic has returned to near pre-Title 42 levels in recent weeks. In one South Texas county near the border, some 15 migrant smuggling cases were interdicted on rural roadways in a 7-day period. Zavala County Sheriff’s Office deputies continue to deal with high-speed pursuits, injuries, and significant private property damage as a result.

The drop in encounters does not factor in those migrants who are now allowed to openly enter through eight designated ports of entry along the southwest border with Mexico. Migrants who schedule an appointment through the CBP One application are allowed to enter and pursue asylum claims after providing biographical information and presenting a basic claim of fear.

In Tuesday’s DHS statement, the department listed the number of admissions granted through using the system.

“Through CBP One, an average of 1,070 noncitizens presented in a safe and orderly manner at a port of entry each day to be processed during their scheduled appointment time. CBP has, as of June 1, expanded the number of appointments available to 1,250 each day.”

Newly obtained emails reveal an attempt to censor the censorship documents.

As journalists and civil libertarians began raising questions in September about the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s efforts to police certain kinds of political content on social media platforms, senior officials in the Biden administration’s Department of Justice intervened to slow the release of public records that might have shed more light on the nature of the federal government’s anti-misinformation crusade.

The stalling effort highlights not only the broad authority that the federal government has to shape the political content available to the public, but also the toolkit that it relies upon to limit scrutiny of its involvement in the regulation of speech.

“We’ve heard from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA) within the Department of Homeland Security that the Daily Caller News Foundation has requested documents from the university, which may include documents that belong to CISA,” wrote Assistant U.S. Attorney Annalisa Cravens of the Western District of Washington in an email to Kate Starbird, a computer science professor at the University of Washington (UW).

Starbird, who runs a government-funded disinformation think tank at UW, serves on the CISA advisory panel tasked with helping the agency shape content moderation decisions at platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. The agency made a controversial push to censor social media during the 2020 election in partnership with several nonprofit groups. At the time of the email, sent on Sept. 26, a number of journalists and watchdog groups were beginning to investigate the DHS-CISA censorship apparatus.

Last fall, I filed a records request with Starbird. Around the same time, journalists from Daily Caller and Tech Inquiry, as well as officials at the pro-transparency nonprofit, the Government Accountability Project, individually submitted record requests to UW. The requests differed in scope but all of them related to Starbird’s work with CISA and its push to censor certain forms of speech on social media.

In response, the DOJ sought a delay to review any records released to the public and assess whether to take legal action in order to block some or all of the documents.

“Could we please see a copy of any relevant CISA documents that you may plan to produce?” Cravens, the assistant U.S. attorney, wrote in her email to Starbird. “[W]e would also ask to have an extension of time before the records are produced so that we can have time to review them and assess whether we’ll have to file suit to protect them from disclosure.”

Christian persecution is common worldwide. In America, Christianity has enjoyed a relatively safe haven until recently. Not that long ago, we’d consider this a joke, but the Biden team’s DHS considers groups like The Heritage Foundation, Christian Broadcasting Network, the National Rifle Association, Turning Point USA, and other right-leaning news and political groups to be a threat to America, on par with militant neo-Nazis. The assault on Constitutional supporters shows obviously, we are a direct threat to the Biden Administration. Why else would DHS award over $350,000 to the University of Dayton project that lists freedom lovers as far-right radicals and terrorist threats?

Under the DHS Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Grant Program, the university developed “The Pyramid of Far-Right Radicalization,” which depicts “increased levels of Extremism” in ascending order. The lower two tiers incorporate the American good guys. Even Fox News and the Republican National Committee are considered significant threats.

Mayorkas’s DHS mafia was quick to distance themselves from the project, claiming they do not “profile, target, or discriminate against any individual for exercising their constitutional rights protected by the First Amendment.” Tell that to the January 6 hostages whose lives were destroyed by being profiled, targeted, and discriminated against. Tell that to the doctors who lost their livelihood for exposing the truth about the Covid takedown. Try and convince mothers who come forward to defend their children that they have legitimate free speech rights.

The Pyramid was initially revealed by a University of Cincinnati researcher, Michael Loadenthal, in a November 2021 PREVENTS-OH seminar, and seeing its desired impact, DHS awarded the grant money in September 2022. But it’s a drop in the bucket compared to the $40 million of DHS money given to 80 grants for projects that target all forms of “domestic extremism,” not the least of which is Christianity. When they attack Judeo-Christian morals and values, they attack America. Because that’s who we are! That is who prosperous, peaceful, and free Americans always have been.

According to the Media Research Center (MRC), a memo from Alejandro Mayorkas designated the Pyramid program a “high priority.” This means they are actively targeting you and me, the conservative Americans. Anyone who still doesn’t recognize the DHS Secretary as another imposter (à la Barack Obama mimicry) is choosing ignorance. Along with the renegade FBI and CIA, DHS is nothing more than a domestic terrorist organization that is sponsoring our border invasion, with all its affiliated ugliness. Human trafficking, fentanyl, and other drug trafficking, and planting militant illegal enemies across our homeland is their true mission.

As MRC’s founder and president Brent Bozell stated, “This terrorism task force is engaged in an active effort to demonize and eliminate Christian, conservative, and Republican organizations using federal taxpayer dollars.” Demonize and eliminate. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday on a trip to strengthen strained ties with the oil-rich kingdom as the long-time US ally forges closer relations with Washington’s rivals.

Blinken’s three-day visit will also focus on efforts to end conflicts in Sudan and Yemen, the joint battle against the Islamic State group (IS), and the Arab world’s relations with Israel.

Blinken met Saudi Arabia’s de facto leader Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman late Tuesday, with the State Department saying they discussed their “shared commitment to advance stability, security, and prosperity across the Middle East and beyond.”

“The secretary also emphasized that our bilateral relationship is strengthened by progress on human rights,” a statement added.

Blinken and bin Salman also discussed the possibility of Saudi Arabia normalizing relations with Israel, a US official told The Times of Israel, adding that the two agreed to continue conversations on the matter moving forward.

A Saudi statement acknowledged the meeting, but offered no specifics.

Blinken will head to Riyadh Wednesday for a Gulf Cooperation Council meeting.

His trip comes at a time of quickly shifting alliances in the Middle East, centered around a China-brokered rapprochement between regional heavyweights Saudi Arabia and Iran in March.

Zelensky could be killed by his ‘masters’ – Medvedev

The West’s disappointment with the authorities in Kiev could cost the Ukrainian leader his life, the former Russian president has suggested

Ukraine is being forced to carry out itsmuch-hyped counteroffensivein order to justify the weapons and money it received from the West, claimed ex-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in a Telegram post on Wednesday.

He suggested that if Kiev doesn’t show its “masters” a return on their investment, the West’s disappointment with the Ukrainian government could end up costing its top officials not only their jobs but even their lives.

“The enemy has long promised a great counteroffensive. And it looks like something has already started,” wrote Medvedev, apparently referring to Kiev’s attempt to launch a large-scale offensive operation in the southern part of the Donetsk People’s Republic on Sunday. Russia’s Defense Ministry reported that Russian forces successfully repelled the thrust, destroying a large number of Ukrainian combatants and Western-supplied military equipment in the process.

Medvedev noted that the launch of such an operation came as no surprise, since “the Kiev regime has no choice. It must attack. It has to justify the money and weapons it has received.” He added that “the disappointment of [Kiev’s] overseers may cost Zelensky and his friends not only their posts, but their lives as well.”

The former Russian president then suggested that it would only take a few reports from “American agents,” which he says have long been in control of the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU),in order for the “cocaine gangto be “instantly written off as scrap” for wasting American taxpayers’ money.

“Moreover, they will delegate it to someone else, as they like to do in Langley [the CIA headquarters],” said Medvedev. “They will give the order to some radical low-lifes todo away with the drug addict [Zelensky] for treasonagainst Ukraine and the Bandera cause, and then hang him by his feet along with his henchmen,” he added.

“Therefore, the Kiev regime has only one way out – to go to the end, sending thousands of mobilized to their deaths”, Medvedev concluded, insisting that Russia must not underestimate the enemy and launch its own offensive to completely “overthrow the Nazi Kiev regime.”

Last month, Medvedev, who currently serves as the deputy chairman of Russia’s National Security Council, claimed that Ukraine has no future in its current form and that the collapse of its statehood is inevitable. He stressed that the “Nazi government in Kiev’’ must be destroyed in order to prevent the ongoing conflict from dragging on in perpetuity.

CIA and Mossad-linked Surveillance System Quietly Being Installed Throughout the US

Under the guise of stopping mass shootings, a surveillance system backed by top Mossad, CIA and FBI officials is being installed in schools, houses of worship, and other civilian locations throughout the country, much of it thanks to the recent donation of an “anonymous philanthropist.”

Launched in 2016 in response to a Tel Aviv shooting and the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida, Gabriel offers a suite of surveillance products for “security and safety” incidents at “so-called soft targets and communal spaces, including schools, community centers, synagogues and churches.” The company makes the lofty promise that its products “stop mass shootings.” According to a 2018 report on Gabriel published in the Jerusalem Post, there were an estimated 475,000 such “soft targets” across the U.S., meaning that “the potential market for Gabriel is huge.”

Gabriel, since its founding, has been backed by “an impressive group of leaders,” mainly “former leaders of Mossad, Shin Bet [Israel’s domestic intelligence agency], FBI and CIA.” In recent years, even more former leaders of Israeli and American intelligence agencies have found their way onto Gabriel’s advisory board and have promoted the company’s products.

While the adoption of its surveillance technology was slower than expected in the United States, that dramatically changed last year, when an “anonymous philanthropist” gave the company $1 million to begin installing its products throughout schools, houses of worship and community centers throughout the country. That same “philanthropist” has promised to recruit others to match his donation, with the ultimate goal of installing Gabriel’s system in “every single synagogue, school and campus community in the country.”

With this CIA, FBI and Mossad-backed system now being installed throughout the United States for “free,” it is worth taking a critical look at Gabriel and its products, particularly the company’s future vision for its surveillance system. Perhaps unsurprisingly, much of the company’s future vision coincides with the vision of the intelligence agencies backing it – pre-crime, robotic policing and biometric surveillance.

Gabriel’s product suite is built around its “smart shield” panic button. The panic button can be activated both manually and remotely and offers two-way communication, a live video feed, instant altering and gunshot detection by acoustic means. However, the panic button is meant to be used in tandem with company’s “threat detection” suite, which includes “smart cameras” that use AI, facial recognition and related technologies to detect not just weapons, but also “fights” and “abnormal behavior” of people in a particular area. Gabriel’s cameras and panic buttons throughout a facility are meant to act as “activation triggers.” The triggering is largely automated and managed by AI. When an “activation trigger” is set off, the Gabriel system then enters any one of its alert modes, which include emergency, panic, silent panic and yellow (which is the alert mode for minor incidents).

As noted elsewhere on the company’s website, Gabriel is looking to expand far beyond schools and houses of worship to retail stores, warehouses, data centers and banks. At these other facilities, it specifically promotes its “abnormal behavior” detection capabilities. One example, given in reference to how its products might be used in the banking sector, states the following as an “abnormal behavior detection example”:
