A three-judge panel of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals has lifted District Judge Tanya Chutkan’s gag order prohibiting Trump from criticizing the special counsel, Jack Smith, or “any foreseeable witness” in the case. [2-Page Opinion Here]In my opinion, it was the generalized “foreseeable witness” part of the Chutkan order that became the central issue for the appellate court. Jack Smith could name anyone as a potential witness, just to silence the accused.

President Trump’s team previously indicated in their filing to the appeals court thatthey are prepared to seek immediate relief at the Supreme Court. However, at least now, that approach will not be needed as the DC Appellate Court has blocked the gag.

It is a win for Donald Trump amid a highly political DC Circuit.

If the appeals court had ruled to uphold the gag order, they would have opened the door for the U.S. Supreme Court to weigh in and potentially overturn the lower rulings. Therefore,appeals courtwas most likely not willing to see their own credibility rest on the language of a motion written by Judge Chutkan.

In the ruling, the appeals court will accept briefings and oral arguments prior to making their own ruling on the matter. That will make any advancement to the Supreme Court much less likely to succeed.

WASHINGTON – A federal appeals court on Friday lifted a gag order reining in Donald Trump’s comments about the criminal election-subversion case pending against him in Washington.

At the former president’s request, a three-judge panel of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals temporarily lifted U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan’s order prohibiting Trump from using his public statements to target special counsel Jack Smith and his team, court officials and potential witnesses in the case.

The appeals court’s action makes it likely that the gag order, which Trump contends violates his First Amendment rights and those of his supporters, will be sidelined for more than two weeks and perhaps longer. The D.C. Circuit set oral arguments on the gag order issue for Nov. 20. The panel issuing the orderconsisted of two Obama appointees — Patricia Millett and Cornelia Pillard — as well as the court’s newest member, Biden appointee Bradley Garcia.

…”No court in American historyhas imposed a gag order on a criminal defendant who is actively campaigning for public office—let alone the leading candidate for President of the United States. That centuries-long practice was broken on October 17, 2023, when the district court entered its Opinion and Order, A1 (the “Gag Order”), muzzling President Trump’s core political speech during an historic Presidential campaign.

Given the Gag Order’s extraordinary nature, one would expect an extraordinary justification for it. Yet none exists.

President Trump has made months of public statements about this cas, but the Department of Justice (“the prosecution”) submitted no evidence of any actual or imminent threat to the administration of justice. Instead, when asked about the supposed threat to the case, the prosecution admitted, “of course this prejudice is speculative.”

Former President Donald Trump’s counsel, Christopher Kise, suggested in court Friday that the legal team may consider pursuing a mistrial in the civil suit brought by the state of New York in light of a report from Breitbart News.

At the center of the argument is Breitbart News Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle’s report that New York County Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron’s top clerk, Allison Greenfield, “appears to have violated judicial rules preventing officers of the court from making excessive political donations.”

“There’s a news story out [today]…about particular political contributions made by your court staff…it raises questions of impartiality,” Kise said, according to Law360’s Stewart Bishop.

He added the “defense will have to give serious consideration to seeking a mistrial.”

According to Pix11 reporter Henry Rosoff, Engoron — who placed a gag order on Trump regarding Greenfield and has fined him twice for gag order violations — became frustrated.

“…I’ll let everyone in the room think what they will about Breitbart,” he added.

There were “audible scoffs in the courtroom” when it was revealed the defense was referencing a Breitbart News report, according to Politico legal reporter Erica Orden.

As Boyle reported, it seems Engoron was advised of the violations laid out in a complaint filed to his court from a third party:

…it appears Engoron was advised of Greenfield’s violations in a 72-page complaint addressed to his court via email that was also filed with the New York State Bar Association the same day he decided to issue a gag order against former President Donald Trump in his case currently playing out in Engoron’s Manhattan courtroom.

Engoron said Friday, “It’s not information, it’s an allegation!” according to Rosoff.

“This idea someone has notified me, absolutely untrue, absolutely untrue,” he added.

Boyle pointed out that “in 2022 alone, Greenfield gave thousands of dollars” in political donations that apparently exceeded a $500 threshold for court officials in aggregate donations for a calendar year:

The donations, which can be found in New York’s elections database, total several thousand dollars. She gave $200 to the Four Freedoms Democratic Club in New York on May 2, 2022. She gave $175 to the Chelsea Reform Democratic Club in New York on April 5, 2022—and gave that group another $210 on July 25, 2022. She gave $350 to the West Side Democrats, Inc. in New York on June 15, 2022. She gave $50 more to New Yorkers For Alex Bores on Sept. 8, 2022. On Oct. 26, 2022, she gave another $50 to the Four Freedoms Democratic Club. On Sept. 12, 2022, Greenfield gave $100 to the Grand Street Democrats. On Dec. 2, 2022, Greenfield gave another $100 to Hell’s Kitchen Democrats. On Nov. 10, 2022, and on Nov. 21, 2022, Greenfield gave $250 each time to Downtown Independent Democrats. On Sept. 6, 2022, she gave $250 to Village Independent Democrats. On Dec. 27, 2022, Greenfield gave $500 to the Jim Owles Liberal Democratic Club. She gave that group another $500 spread over two $250 donations back on June 1, 2022, as well. On March 3, 2022, she gave $50 to Sivin for New York. On March 10, 2022, Greenfield gave another $100 to Sivin for New York. On May 15, 2022, she gave another $125 to Sivin for New York. She gave $25 to the New York County Democratic Committee on Feb. 13, 2022. She gave the New York County Democratic Committee another $50 on July 17, 2022.

Trump allies slammed Engoron and Greenfield after the report came to light.

“It’s a disgrace. And many members of the family are under a gag order, so they can’t even defend themselves,” wrote Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH).

“What these corrupt Democrats are trying to do to the Trump family in New York is something straight out of a 3rd world banana republic,” Republican Ohio Senate candidate Bernie Moreno wrote in a post on X.

Republican Arizona Congressional candidate and former prosecutor Abe Hamadeh chimed in as well, writing, “Their bias is blatant and their derangement will destroy the rule of law.”

Potential ethical violations were uncovered involving Allison Greenfield, the top clerk for New York Justice Arthur Engoron. It appears she may have violated judicial rules that prohibit officers of the court from making excessive political donations.

Moreover, it appears that Justice Engoron was informed of these violations in a comprehensive 72-page complaint sent to his court via email on the same day he issued a gag order against former President Donald Trump in their ongoing case. Engoron has subsequently fined Trump $15,000 for allegedly violating this gag order.

The evidence against Greenfield, as outlined in the complaint filed by a third party named Brock Fredin, who runs a Twitter account called @JudicialProtest, is extensive. This complaint, usually confidential, was made public by the complainant. Throughout the document, it details significant political involvement by Greenfield, who serves as the principal law clerk for Justice Engoron.

“My name is Brock Fredin and I operate the Twitter account @JudicialProtest,” Fredin wrote in the Oct. 3, 2023, complaint sent to Engoron. “I write with respect to the blatantly unethical and partisan conduct of Your Honor’s Principal Law Clerk Allison Greenfield, the Court’s ‘Gag Order’ issued today concerning President Trump’s retweeting of my tweet about Ms. Greenfield and Senator Chuck Schumer taken at a Chelsea Reform Democrat Club brunch and the overly apparent appearance of impropriety in the above-referenced matter with respect to Ms. Greenfield’s repeated partisan political and Democrat activities while employed as a law clerk. Given that President Trump’s post at-issue today was a re-tweet of my original tweet on the @JudicialProtest account, the Court’s order directing President Trump to remove it is a direct attack on my First Amendment rights (as well as President Trump’s), particularly since the Court asserted on the record that my tweet was a ‘personal attack’ on Ms. Greenfield rather than a post exposing and criticizing the misconduct of a public official. I am consequently an interested party and submit this letter as such. To be clear, though, this letter and its contents are not a ‘personal attack’ on Ms. Greenfield. Rather, this letter contains receipts and raises serious ethical violations as to her political speech and activities involving the Democrat Party while employed as your law clerk that undoubtedly create an appearance of impropriety in People v. Trump et al.”

She is seen as having close relationships with prominent New York Democrats, such as Senator Chuck Schumer and former Rep. Carolyn Maloney. The complaint also highlights her active role as a Democratic Party organizer, involved in canvassing for party officials and supporting Democratic candidates.

What’s more concerning is that Greenfield appears to have exceeded the allowable limit for political donations by court officials in New York, which is $500 in aggregate per calendar year. Records indicate that she exceeded this limit in 2022 and 2023. Greenfield contributed several thousand dollars to various Democratic candidates and causes, far beyond the legally permitted amount.

New York ethics rules prohibit:

…contributing, directly or indirectly, money or other valuable consideration in amounts exceeding $500 in the aggregate during any calendar year to all political campaigns for political office, and other partisan political activity including, but not limited to, the purchasing of tickets to political functions, except that this $500 limitation shall not apply to an appointee’s contributions to his or her own campaign. Where an appointee is a candidate for judicial office, reference also shall be made to appropriate sections of the Election Law.

In 2022, she donated over $3,335 to Democratic candidates and causes, while in 2023, her contributions totaled more than $1,001—both figures significantly surpassing the annual limit for court officials.

Circuit Court of Appeals has lifted District Judge Tanya Chutkan’s gag order prohibiting Trump from criticizing the special counsel, Jack Smith, or “any foreseeable witness” in the case. [2-Page Opinion Here] In my opinion, it was the generalized “foreseeable witness” part of the Chutkan order that became the central issue for the appellate court. Jack Smith could name anyone as a potential witness, just to silence the accused. President Trump’s team previously indicated in their filing to the appeals court that they are prepared to seek immediate relief at the Supreme Court. However, at least now, that approach will not be needed

I think that it is worth pointing out that China did not "FIRE at" a sub hunting helo. They 'released' defensive countermeasures in a manner that put the helicopter at risk. Arguably you can contend that the countermeasures were used in an offensive manner; however stating that China 'FIRED at' is a deceptive title.

While we cannot be accountable for the headline that a news organization uses we should be careful as to what wording we use for the notables.

"Republican White House hopefuls will head to Alabama next month for the fourth GOP presidential primary debate, the Republican National Committee revealed Friday.

The remaining field of GOP candidates will have to meet even more stringent polling and fundraising thresholds in order to take the stage in Tuscaloosa, Ala., for the Dec. 6 event, a memo released by the RNC shows.

Debate participants will need at least 6% support in two national polls or 6% support in one national poll and 6% in two different early state primary surveys.

Candidates will also need to have a minimum of 80,000 unique donors, with at least 200 unique donors in 20 states.

A pair of House Republican chairmen are looking into whether there's "improper" handling of the Washington, D.C., attorney general's investigation of the legal activist behind the Supreme Court's Republican-appointed majority.

Democratic Attorney General Brian Schwalb has been leading an investigation into Leonard Leo, co-chairman of the Federalist Society legal group, after one of Leo's seven nonprofit organizations allegedly paid excessive compensation to one of his for-profit companies.

"The Committees are concerned that your office’s investigation may be improper and politically motivated," House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) wrote in a joint letter obtained by the Washington Examiner.

The lawmakers wrote that Schwalb's investigation raised at least two major concerns, including that it appeared the attorney general "does not have jurisdiction" because Leo and his affiliated organizations are based outside of D.C.

“Worse yet, the committees are troubled that your investigation could infringe upon the fundamental rights of Donor privacy and free association," the chairmen added.

Schwalb was requested to provide documents and communications related to his investigation of Leo, including any contacts with outside organizations.

The lawmakers also called on the attorney general to focus his concern on rising crime rates in the D.C. area, citing statistics showing violent crime is up 41% in the city.

In late June, Schwalb issued subpoenas to groups tied to Leo to uncover documents as part of an inquiry launched months after the liberal Campaign for Accountability accused the conservative activist of enriching himself with consulting fees charged to tax-exempt organizations in his network.

"Past experience with the D.C. attorney general has featured an almost exclusive focus on conservative organizations," David Rivkin, an attorney for Leo, told the Washington Examiner earlier this month. "In our case, this investigation is entirely lacking authority. The combination of those two factors suggests it is ideologically driven."

Criticism has fallen over Leo, especially since he played a key part in selecting the three justices nominated by former President Donald Trump to the high court during his single term in office.

Leo was previously the longtime vice president at the Federalist Society, a conservative legal organization based in D.C. with influential ties to the conservative legal movement. The group has had notable members, from Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) to even Supreme Court justices such as Samuel Alito, a nominee of then-President George W. Bush.

American health officials are preventing an outbreak of rabies by dropping vaccines from planes as part of a half-billion-dollar federal program.

Over 9 million ketchup packet-sized pieces of food containing vaccines are scattered all over the Eastern United States to suppress the deadly neurological virus in raccoons and keep it from killing humans.

The packets come in two flavors especially designed to appeal to the trash-diving mammal — vanilla and fishmeal — but 'packet thieves' who don't need the rabies vaccine, like gray squirrels and opossums, do make off with a few morsels.

The annual airdrop, run by the US Department of Agriculture since 1997, has stopped the spread of rabies westward across the US, but now hopes to eradicate the disease in racoons in the east as well.

The news comes amid warnings from scientists that rabies-infected vampire bats are creeping up North America via Mexico, as habitats shift due to climate change.

'What we haven't been able to do,' according to Charles Rupprecht, a former head of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) rabies program, 'is eliminate it from any state where raccoon rabies currently exists.'

The USDA has renewed testing of a newer vaccine with a new flavor this year, in its effort to entice more raccoons: marshmallow with icing sugar, vegetable oil and a dark-green food dye.

'Our feelings are absolutely not hurt if skunks, foxes or coyotes pick them up. And they do,' said wildlife biologist Jordona Kirby, a field coordinator for the USDA's National Rabies Management Program.

'So, although raccoons are the reservoir and spread rabies primarily in the east,' Kirby told NPR, 'those other animals, just like any mammal, can contract rabies.'

Last year, in fact, researchers working with the University of Georgia's Savannah River Ecology Laboratory determined that 'competition with opossums,' at least, was not holding raccoons back from getting their dose of the vaccine.

The researchers' proposed two solutions to get more raccoons vaccinated, as published this year in the Journal of Wildlife Management, focused less on the competition and more on the raccoons.

The first suggestion was 'altering the bait matrix to make it more attractive to raccoons,' meaning even more design and flavor experimentation.

Their second new proposal: drop the oral vaccine packets in winter months, when food is more scarce, 'to promote bait acceptance by raccoons.'

Up to the present, the USDA's oral vaccine airdrops have typically occurred between the months of July and October.

Starting last July, the USDA's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) began the next phase of their marshmallow trials — which distributes approximately 3.5 million of the new oral vaccine baits, called ONRAB ORV, across parts of Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

One other area, however, will be the focus of their data collection for this field test.

'APHIS is conducting the final year of a small-scale project during October in Chattanooga,' USDA officials announced, 'to evaluate the effectiveness of ONRAB’s distribution methods.'

KATHMANDU, Nov 4 (Reuters) - At least 128 people were killed and dozens injured in Nepal when a strong earthquake struck the western area of Jajarkot, officials said on Saturday, as houses in the area collapsed and buildings as far as New Delhi in neighbouring India shook.

The quake occurred at 11:47 p.m. (1802 GMT) on Friday with a magnitude 6.4, Nepal's National Seismological Centre said. The German Research Centre for Geosciences measured the quake at 5.7, downgrading it from 6.2, while the U.S. Geological Survey pegged it at 5.6.

The quake is the deadliest since 2015 when about 9,000 people were killed in two earthquakes in the Himalayan country. Whole towns, centuries-old temples and other historic sites were reduced to rubble then, with more than a million houses destroyed, at a cost to the economy of $6 billion.

Officials feared the death toll in Friday's quake could rise as they had not been able to establish contact in the hilly area near the epicentre, some 500 km (300 miles) west of the capital Kathmandu, where tremors were also felt. The district has a population of 190,000 with villages scattered in remote hills.

"The number of injured could be in the hundreds and the deaths could go up as well," Jajarkot district official Harish Chandra Sharma told Reuters by phone.

Police spokesman Kuber Kadayat said 92 people were killed in Jajarkot and 36 in neighbouring Rukum West district, both in Karnali province. The epicentre was in the village of Ramidanda.

At least 85 people were injured in Rukum West and 55 in Jajarkot, an official in the prime minister's office said, while Sharma said at least 50 people were in hospitals in Jajarkot alone.

"Many houses have collapsed, many others have developed cracks. Thousands of residents spent the entire night in cold, open grounds because they were too scared to go in into the cracked houses as aftershocks struck," Sharma said. "I have myself not been able to go in."

Search and rescue must clear roads blocked by landslides, triggered by the earthquake, to reach the affected areas, police officer Namaraj Bhattarai said.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal flew to the area early on Saturday with a 16-member army medical team to oversee search, rescue and relief, his office said.

Dahal, posting on the X social media platform, expressed deep sorrow at the loss of life and property in the quake and ordered security agencies to launch immediate rescue and relief operations.

A California assembly member who was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a crash in Los Angeles claimed she 'sneezed' and lost control of the car.

Wendy Carrillo, 43, was taken into custody shortly after midnight Friday in Los Angeles, reportedly registering a blood alcohol level over double the legal limit.

She swayed and staggered across a road as she was arrested for allegedly drunk driving and crashing into several parked cars.

Video obtained by Fox11 shows the lawmaker, who is currently running for a seat on the LA City Council, telling police officers: 'I'm sorry I sneezed, I lost track of the vehicle.

Carrillo was captured in humiliating footage struggling to walk in a straight line as cops had her perform a field sobriety test, which she failed.

Residents at the scene described hearing a loud bang from the crash which deployed Carrillo's airbags and sent her Audi back into the middle of the road.

A witness who rushed to help Carrillo from her crumpled car told ABC7 it was 'really clear' she was intoxicated, adding: 'You could smell alcohol. She was slurring her speech. She was very impaired.'

The Democrat who has served in the California legislature since 2017, and has been seen on numerous occasions with Governor Gavin Newsom, including accompanying him on a trip to her home country of El Salvador in 2019.

Carrillo has rocketed up the Democratic ladder in recent years, after fleeing the El Salvadorian Civil War aged five and becoming the first former illegal immigrant to be elected to California's State Assembly.

She was seen in footage looking up at the sky while cops tried to help her begin a field sobriety test.

One of the officers was forced to catch her arm and adjust the lawmaker as soon as she took a small step forward, before she appeared to slump forward and stare at the floor.

Carrillo was later seen using a car bumper for support as she stumbled through the test before the officers allowed her to finish the test in private because she is a 'dignitary.'

She was booked into Los Angeles County jail just after 4am and was released without bail at around 1pm on Friday, according to her jail records.

Carrillo later apologized over the crash but did not address the allegations she was driving under the influence.

'As a public servant, I am aware that I must adhere to a higher standard that demands personal accountability for my conduct and I accept responsibility for my actions,' she said in a statement.

'I sincerely apologize, to my family, constituents, colleagues and staff for any actions of mine that have fallen short of that expectation. I intend to seek the necessary help and support.

'I intend to seek the necessary help and support. As I do so, I remain dedicated to my family, my constituents and the community that I grew-up in and am proud to represent.'

An Alabama mayor and pastor has committed suicide in front of police officers after photos of him in drag were published online.

An article about Smiths Station Mayor and First Baptist Church of Phenix City pastor Bubba Copeland dressing as a woman was published on 1819 News on November 1. His suicide was confirmed by police two days later.

The report had detailed how Copeland was posting as a “transgender woman” online under the pseudonym “Brittini Blaire Summerlin.”

“In the social media posts, Copeland can be seen wearing several articles of his wife’s clothing, as shown by her social media,” the report explained. “Additionally, Copeland regularly commented on other posts, referring to himself as a ‘thick transgender woman’ and encouraging other transgender individuals to go on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Anew report provides fresh evidence that infamous January 6 provocateur Ray Epps may have been an FBI plant.

In the first of a two-part series, “Truth in Media” host Lara Logan spoke with Anthime Gionet, also known as “Baked Alaska,” a right-wing influencer formerly associated with the “alt right.” Video footage from January 5, 2021 and earlier indicate that Epps appeared to be particularly interested in Gionet, who was later sentenced to two months in prison for his participation in the riot at the US Capitol.

Gionet (Baked Alaska) was one of several people who filmed Epps on the evening of January 5, 2021 outside BLM Plaza as he told Trump supporters “we need to go into the Capitol!” At first, Gionet said he was amused by Epps’ exhortation to breach the Capitol, and yelled ‘let’s go!’ in response, but after he saw him repeat the line several times to different groups that night, he became convinced the “boomer” was an FBI plant and was up to no good.

Gionet is the one who started the “Fed! Fed! Fed!” chant that went viral on social media.

“I’m someone who creates funny content so I just like to agree with everyone and if someone’s saying something crazy, a lot of times, I’ll just agree—say yeah, yeah,” Gionet said, explaining that he does it to encourage a subject to keep talking.

But the activist said he felt “weirded out” by Epps and quickly moved on to another group. “I’m like, I’m getting away from this creep, he’s weirding me out,” Gionet said. “I’m getting weird vibes—something’s off.”

Gionet told Logan that everyone else who heard Epps talking about going into the Capitol were also taken aback.

“I go to another group way far away from him, he follows me, and that’s when he begins instructing the crowd,” Gionet said. That’s when Epps was caught on tape again saying “we need to go into the Capitol.”

“Right when he said that, something clicked in my head,” Gionet said. “It was like, whoa! This is scripted because he said the same exact line word for word three times and that’s not natural.”

Gionet said that it seemed very odd that he kept going around to all the different little groups and instructing them on what to do on January 6.

“Maybe the first time, he’s being silly or saying something crazy, but when he said it the third time word for word, I knew there’s a strong possibility this guy’s a fed. I started that chant, and guess what? The whole crowd joined in with me—within seconds!”

Gionet told Logan that that viral moment felt spiritual to him at the time.

“That was the spirit moving. That was God saying ‘somethings up here. Watch out, there’s something going on.’ And that’s what I felt in my heart as a believer, truly,” he said.

Shortly before midnight, Epps took a conciliatory tone with Gionet, telling him they he also despises Black Lives Matter and antifa.

“I stood ’em down myself with three Army vets in Queen Creek, Arizona,” Epps said.

“That’s where I live!” Gionet exclaimed. “Are you my neighbor?!”

The Wikileaks publisher faces extradition to the US and a 175-year prison sentence if his final appeal fails

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson visited Wikileaks founder Julian Assange at London’s Belmarsh Prison on Thursday, Carlson revealed in a post on X (formerly Twitter) later that day.

The American journalist included a photo of himself walking with Assange’s wife, Stella Moris. The post garnered positive reactions from activists who have collaborated with Wikileaks in the past, including Mega founder Kim Dotcom and former British MP George Galloway.

While Carlson did not elaborate on the nature of his visit, media commentary suggested it was an interview for Carlson’s popular self-titled show on X. He previously interviewed Assange’s father and brother for a Fox News segment in 2021, and again earlier this year.

Carlson has condemned Assange’s continued incarceration as a violation of the Wikileaks founder’s First Amendment rights, and said it sets a disastrous precedent for other journalists and publishers who work with classified material.

Residents of kibbutzim in the Western Negev who were evacuated from their homes after the massacre on October 7 say that the houses were broken into, vandalized, and some of them had the few valuable items left in them after the disaster looted - according to them, apparently by IDF soldiers, who are staying in the area for operational purposes. But according to the residents the victims, when they contacted the police and asked to file a theft complaint, were told that there was no way to handle their complaint since it was an area that had been declared a closed military area - and that they should contact the army, which they said did not handle their complaints.

In the Eshkol Regional Council they say that two weeks ago a complaint was received about a theft from a house in Holit - which was forwarded to the IDF and led to the opening of an investigation at the Israel Defense Forces. According to the council, yesterday (Tuesday) another complaint arrived from Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak, which was brought to the attention of the army.

According to Zohar Chaimi, a resident of Nir Yitzhak whose son Tal Chaimi was kidnapped to Gaza, his house was broken into while he was staying at a hotel in Eilat - and he is afraid of his belongings. James Biden told FBI agents that he and Hunter were trying to help CEFC China Energy purchase U.S. energy assets while they believed the company's chairman had direct ties to Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Rashida Tlaib went after President Joe Biden in a vicious video Friday saying he supports genocide and threatening him with a 2024 election loss if he doesn’t adopt her position on the Israel-Hamas war. In a video shared to her social media channels on Friday evening, the Michigan Democrat and activist who was nearly censured by the House this week attacked Biden over the war, claiming outright that by backing Israel he “supported genocide.” The video begins with an ominously framed clip of Biden saying the United States stands with Israel, and is followed by images from Gaza as well as anti-Israel protests in various American cities.

Ukraine’s newly appointed head of defense industry says he is working tirelessly to ramp up local arms production and wants to turn the country into a weapons production hub for the West. Oleksandr Kamysyhin, the minister for strategic industries of Ukraine, said that Russia’s invasion of his country and the Israel-Hamas war raging in the Middle East have highlighted the need for countries to spend on their defense systems. “We’re really focusing on making Ukraine the arsenal of the free world,” Kamyshin told The Associated Press in an interview late Friday.

HAMBURG: "A major airport in Germany has been closed to passengers and flights have been suspended after a vehicle broke through security and fired twice into the air. Federal police said an armed man rammed through a gate at Hamburg Airport and entered the premises at around 8pm, according to German news agency dpa. Police also said that shortly before the man was noticed by security forces at the airport, his wife had alerted them about a possible child abduction. That's exactly how it is. Synodality is not the topic of a meeting, but represents the very form of the Church. A Church that is increasingly complex internally: if it once had references in the Pastors who were nevertheless formed and had a common mentality, and often also a common language - Latin or Italian - because many had studied in Rome , now instead the Church is a place of great differences, and we are talking about a community that crosses spatial and cultural barriers. The Church lives in the tightropes of the North and South of the world, in the tensions between conservatives and progressives, in contexts of wealth and poverty. It is necessary, therefore, for the Church to walk together. Ultimately, this is the image that has remained with me the most from the end of the Synod, the image of a large ship, a transatlantic I would say, capable of sailing the oceans, where everyone works so that it can move forward with all the differences. However, the greater the diversity, the greater the need to share the journey, to reflect together, to make common decisions, to listen. One of the things that, for example, characterized this Synod was not only the expression of each one, but also the listening that each one dedicated to the others and also within the group tables. So now I understand what Pope Francis told me for the first time in my interview for «La Civiltà Cattolica» in 2013: there he spoke to me about a more synodal Church. So we are talking about an idea that Francis had clear from the beginning of his pontificate, in August 2013. I fully understand his words only now. So the answer is yes, synodality must become the practice of the Church, also having suitable structures, suitable moments, necessary to be able to move forward.

Biden's SPR Election Gimmick Undercut National Security

The chaotic turn of events around the globe in the past weeks has shown that history repeats itself.

Fifty years ago when the Yom Kippur War raged in the Middle East, Americans felt the pinch as oil-rich countries blocked U.S. imports of their crude in response to U.S. support of Israel. Now, the atrocious tragedies committed by barbaric Hamas terrorists are again causing chaos and strife in the Middle East.

Because of planning in the 1970s and under the right leadership today, this conflict shouldn’t spark concerns about gas prices for Americans as we learned our lesson a half-century ago and created the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. Unfortunately, President Biden disregarded these lessons to score cheap political points at the expense of the American consumer and our national security.

The week of January 20, 2021, when President Biden was sworn into office the national average for a gallon of gas was just under $2.40. That means a family with a minivan could easily fill up their tank for under $50.

Then Biden’s anti-energy independence agenda kicked in. He made it clear that he wanted to “end fossil fuel” during his campaign and got right to work on day one to implement his devasting plan. He ended the Keystone XL Pipeline, proposed tax increases on oil and gas companies and pushed policies that benefited “green” energy and Chinese companies over reliable American energy.

By the time Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine in February of 2022, Biden’s policies had already pushed the national weekly average to $3.53. Biden – desperate to hide his failed policies – quickly blamed the high cost of gas on the invasion, despite the fact that under a year of his policies prices had already increased by more than a dollar per gallon.

Anew report provides fresh evidence that infamous January 6 provocateur Ray Epps may have been an FBI plant.

In the first of a two-part series, “Truth in Media” host Lara Logan spoke with Anthime Gionet, also known as “Baked Alaska,” a right-wing influencer formerly associated with the “alt right.” Video footage from January 5, 2021 and earlier indicate that Epps appeared to be particularly interested in Gionet, who was later sentenced to two months in prison for his participation in the riot at the US Capitol.

Gionet (Baked Alaska) was one of several people who filmed Epps on the evening of January 5, 2021 outside BLM Plaza as he told Trump supporters “we need to go into the Capitol!” At first, Gionet said he was amused by Epps’ exhortation to breach the Capitol, and yelled ‘let’s go!’ in response, but after he saw him repeat the line several times to different groups that night, he became convinced the “boomer” was an FBI plant and was up to no good.

Election Group Slapped With RICO Says It Can Prove Trump Won Georgia In 2020

Former Black Voices for Trump leader Harrison Floyd’s legal team intends to prove his innocence of claims he unlawfully participated in an election subversion plot in Fulton County, Georgia, by showing that former President Donald Trump won the state’s 2020 presidential election.

Mr. Floyd was charged on Aug. 14 alongside the 45th president and 17 other co-defendants with violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, conspiracy to commit solicitation of false statements and writings, and influencing witnesses.

He was the only defendant to spend time in jail due to the indictment before he was released on bond on Aug. 30.

“Your Honor, this case isn’t about whether you or I think that Donald Trump lost the election. It’s about what Mr. Floyd believed at the time,” noted Chris Kachouroff, one of Mr. Floyd’s defense attorneys, at a Nov. 3 hearing before Judge Scott McAfee.

“It’s also [about] what the false statements are alleged to have been, and indeed, are they really false,” he said.

Opening the Door

The judge ordered the hearing in response to motions to quash three sweeping subpoenas Mr. Floyd’s legal team served to the office of Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, the Fulton County Clerk of Courts, and the Fulton County Board of Elections.

Materials the attorneys requested included the ballot images and envelopes for all absentee ballots cast in the 2020 general election, all absentee ballot application forms, reports from the Dominion voting machines used, and all laptops and poll pads used by election workers, along with other documents, files, and drives.

Attorneys also requested all documents and recordings concerning the secretary of state’s post-election investigation into allegations of election fraud.

“The state chose to open this door,” Mr. Kachouroff said. “It is a broad and sweeping complaint. They opened the door wide open for us to walk in and ask for these things.”

The attorney noted that the 98-page indictment repeatedly asserts as fact that President Trump lost the 2020 election in Georgia, and the charges against Mr. Floyd are predicated on that claim. But if Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is wrong and President Trump actually won the election, then Mr. Floyd cannot be guilty of soliciting “false statements and writings” that conveyed as much.

The indictment also maintains that Mr. Floyd and the other co-defendants were aware that President Trump lost the election and that their actions constituted an unlawful conspiracy to change the results in his favor.

That assertion, Mr. Kachouroff said, would also be undermined by proof that the former president won or even just proof that the election’s outcome is uncertain. And the subpoenaed materials, he argued, are likely to contain that proof.

“We could make that argument that he’s innocent no matter what happened,” he noted. “And, of course, we would. We’re defense attorneys; that’s what we do.

“But at the end of the day, those are the possible options down the road that could arise. Right now, we believe we’re at Option 1, that President Trump indeed won the election, and we can prove it—with respect to Fulton County.”
