▲ MY COMMENT: You must remember the EU is full of unelected bureaucrats who placed themselves into power over European countries, it was never about democracy or sovereignty or representing European nations or the citizenry. It would be similar to the US government allowing Canada and Mexico to make economic and political decisions for the US which would be disastrous and outright treasonous. But that is literally how most of Europe operates now days, they are NOT sovereign democratic nations under the EU.
