"Worship" is a strong word but OP is right. The Founding generation was one of statesmen endowed with wisdom to establish a long-lasting, fruitful nation. Since then politicians, tyrants and traitors have actively undermined all this through aggressively subverting the Constitution and centralizing power in the General Government. Russia is a corrupted nation whose leader is enslaved, while China has a powerful leader yet not quite enough honesty to save the life of the doctor who first reported the coronavirus. These are poor nations, with little surplus, eager to exploit any country that is vulnerable to them. Their agents squirm against the humiliation of servitude.
“Man must not submit”; Americans are more religious than people of other wealthy nations, but they worship only the Creator who gave them such a beautiful world. Perhaps people of other nations could learn from that.
