Canada has moved to make the asset freezing part of its Emergencies Act, which was used to target supporters of the Freedom Convoy protests, a permanent fixture.

In order to stop what the Trudeau regime referred to as “illegal blockades,” the government threatened to freeze the bank accounts of demonstrators and anyone who donated money to them.

Under the Emergencies Act, bank are required to freeze accounts without a court order, while all crowdfunding platforms and payment providers are mandated to provide information to FINTRAC (Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada).

Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland announced that many of the measures imposed ‘temporarily’ to deal with the protesters (after they had been suitably demonized as 'violent extremists') will now become permanent. Yes, honking horns and blocking traffic is now considered 'terrorism' to corrupt despotic rulers.

A Canadian MP says the bank account of a single mom with a minimum wage job has been frozen after she donated $50 to Freedom Convoy.

Conservative MP Mark Strahl says the mom, named only as Briane, has had her life ruined for donating the small sum to the anti-vaccine mandates protest.

Strahl shared Brianne's story as concerns grow that scores of ordinary people will no longer be able to pay for food and basics after their accounts were frozen for donating to a group of protesters.

He tweeted her story Sunday, shining a light on how her livelihood is being affected by Trudeau's orders.

'Briane is a single mom from Chilliwack working a minimum wage job. She gave $50 to the convoy when it was 100% legal. She hasn't participated in any other way. Her bank account has now been frozen. This is who Justin Trudeau is actually targeting with his Emergencies Act orders.'

Response on social media varied from those angry at the situation, stating this would have never happened to Black Lives Matter protesters, and offered to help Briane, to those who questioned whether Briane really exists. DailyMail.com has contacted Strahl for further information.

'To those of you, especially the media, demanding more details on Briane, having seen what has been said about her online today and what has been done to other convoy donors in the last weeks I am not going to help you dox her,' Strahl continued. 'I know who she is and I won't stop fighting for her.'

Canadian trucker Derek Brouwer told Fox News that along with his truck being seized, his personal and business bank accounts have been frozen since Friday

Brouwer added they also froze the account for another business he owns that he said has nothing to do with trucks or the protests.

CDC has withheld vast swaths of the information it holds about the impact of COVID-19, leading to anger from the scientific community and speculation the agency is not releasing the data because it weakens the case for booster shots in certain demographics.

Two weeks ago, the CDC published the first significant data on the effectiveness of boosters in adults younger than 65. But the agency, led by Dr Rochelle Walensky, did not share the information on those aged 18-49, who are considered to be the least likely to benefit from a booster.

Kristen Nordlund, a spokeswoman for the CDC, said the agency has been slow to release the different streams of data ‘because basically, at the end of the day, it’s not yet ready for prime time.’

It's not just truckers losing trust in the financial system, it's normal average Canadians who are now realizing their corrupted government can literally seize their accounts, at whim, for peacefully protesting (or even simply donating to "wrong think" activist groups). There is a growing trend now of distrust in such a corrupted system, and yes the banks are very worried about it, so much so they are trying to pressure Trudeau's government NOT to seize accounts from people. It may only be 20% to 30% of people pulling their money, but that does have serious financial ramifications for the banks. If it continues, they'll be forced to do something drastic, which might cripple trust even further. If there is one thing the truckers did that was successful it was exposing this level of corruption and treachery by their own government. Now distrust is at an all-time high!

Italian Truckers Block Highways To PROTEST Exorbitant Fuel Prices

Truckers in Italy have blocked highways to protest further increases of already exorbitant fuel prices. The truckers, mainly hauling fresh produce, said the recent 25 percent rice in pump prices inflicted serious damage to the Italian economy.

The protests kicked off on Feb. 21, with members of the Sicilian truck haulers association AIAS leading the way. They staged a sit-in protest at the toll booth in the western San Gregorio municipality in Sicily, along the A18 motorway. They explained that the increase in diesel prices, tires and energy coupled with impassable roads, motorway tolls and driver shortages “has created a situation where haulers’ expenses have become unbearable.”

Crisis24 reported that the road blockages have “most significantly affected the southern regions of the country in recent days – including in Sicily, Puglia and on routes from Salerno to Reggio Calabria.” It added that “similar convoy-style protests have been reported on routes near the cities of Naples and Caserta in [the] Campania region, as well as near Ravenna in [the] Emilia-Romagna region.”

Furio Tuzzi, who leads the Assoutenti association of public service consumers, voiced out opposition to the rising fuel prices. “The high cost of petrol is a drama that affects everyone – starting with consumers who pay twice the price increases at the pump, first through the cost of refueling, then with retail prices that rise due to higher transport costs,” he said.

The demonstrations against rising fuel prices went on for four days. Infrastructure and Transport Minister Enrico Giovannini said he would meet with the transport associations on Feb. 22 and 23 with the hope of laying down concrete measures to address the matter. However, both parties have not come to an agreement.

The truckers’ protests that began in Sicily are expected to affect supplies of goods and prices of existing stocks throughout Italy in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, Italian road transport news portal Transporto Europa warned that the blockade could trigger other protests nationwide.

The protests by Italian truckers followed similar demonstrations against the country’s Super Green Pass. Citizens took to the streets of the capital Rome and other areas to voice out their opposition to the measure. The Super Green Pass, which is the country’s version of the vaccine passport, excluded people who have not been injected with the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) shot from most establishments.

The Italian government also mandated that beginning Feb. 15, all public and private workers must present their Super Green Pass before they can enter their workplaces. The pass is only available for those fully vaccinated or recovered from a bout with COVID-19. Given this, unemployed Italians aged 50 years and up are unable to get a Super Green Pass even if they present proof of COVID-19 recovery – essentially excluding them from most public spaces.

The largest anti-vaccine protest occurred in the capital, with over 5,000 people converging at the plaza in front of Rome’s Lateran Basilica. The protesters directed their anger toward Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Mario Draghi for implementing medical martial law. Several prominent personalities including actor Enrico Montesano and lawmaker Bianca Laura Granato were in attendance.

Former Apostolic Nuncio to the U.S. Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano also delivered a message during the Rome protest. “It is the Lord who saves you, not an experimental serum. Your protest is courageous, and starts from fundamental principles such as the right to natural freedoms. I urge you not to give in to provocations,” he told the attendees.

The archbishop also called on people to continue rejecting the COVID-19 vaccines, adding: “Your children will thank you for what you do.”

Is QAnon dangerous or illegal?

The conspiracy theory has been linked to several crimes, some of them violent, and the FBI has said it’s a potential domestic terrorism threat. Some of QAnon’s claims could be potentially defamatory.

In a May 2019 intelligence bulletin obtained by Yahoo! News, FBI officials described "conspiracy theory-driven domestic extremists" as a growing threat. The memo mentions QAnon specifically.

"The FBI assesses these conspiracy theories very likely will emerge, spread, and evolve in the modern information marketplace, occasionally driving both groups and individual extremists to carry out criminal or violent acts," the document says.

In a July report, West Point’s Combating Terrorism Center, an academic institute within the United States Military Academy, cited a number of examples of violence linked to QAnon.
