Businesses who post mask mandates are required by law to inform the public of their right to refuse, as well as to explicitly state that their mask policy will not protect against viruses. Otherwise it could be construed as (falsely) implying that the mask provides any protection against viruses. This is the same reason they put that warning on the box.
Businesses usually post their mask mandates on signs by the entrance. These disclaimers should be affixed to those signs.
