The US government is currently talking about regulating bitcoin somehow. The regulations will probably involve taxing or shutting down exchanges. If it becomes impossible to convert bitcoin into other currencies then bitcoin will be worthless.

Likely not during SHTF or real economic collapse scenarios, no. Maybe a decent option to store some of your wealth outside the US dollar (or other fiat currency) for the time being, until it gets regulated or taxed. But hey, same can be said with gold and silver too.

If you really want to protect your wealth you need to be investing in property outside of major cities. Talking small town / rural property, as well as tools and extra accessories, lumber, logging/landscaping/farming equipment, long-term food storage, rain water collection with purification and filtration systems, solar panels, a wood burning stove, propane and generators, extra fuel and fuel stabilizer, 2 and 4 cycle mix, lubricants (for equipment, think bar & chain oil for chainsaws), firearms and ammo, organic heirloom seeds and plenty of extra gardening equipment, livestock…. that is if you desire to really become self-sufficient and survive the inevitable collapse and "Mark of the Beast" "Great Reset" system that Zionists have planned for the masses. I tend to agree with having some physical silver and/or gold. The issue is they'll outlaw it eventually, it will become next to impossible to exchange in other currency or barter with, even if you try to buck the system. I do have some physical silver and gold, but my real investment is my rural property (which is paid off in full) and all my tools, equipment, firearms, lumber and the livestock (currently chickens for eggs/meat but I'll soon be breeding rabbits for meat too). That's my safe haven. It's not in the stock market or in a big vault safe or a bank. It's on rural land out in the country where everyone else is armed and also self-sufficient. THAT is the investment that makes those like Bill Gates cry "oy vey!"

I just got some and held it. Moved into a few alts. Waited for YEARS and years and now I have started pulling out a little here and there. No need to work any more. Income is taxed at 15% flat.

Its funny ya know. Everyone in places like this told me over the years and years and years that I was wrong. Imagine if all the white nationalists had captured bitcoin early on and also captured those gains for themselves. I called for it and was shouted down for the Hitler currency over and over.

It seems that crypto has just gotten started also. I tell people to get some… They still tell me Im stupid. You will tell me im stupid. Meanwhile I dont have to work and can buy land or travel or have 10 kids or whatever. It is not perfect. It is being captured by banks and governments but everything will be priced in it soon even your DNA and daily activities. My guess is the only way to avoid it will be to control a vast sum of crypto and use it to support yourself and your family so you dont have to be a slave to it.
