A lot of US military planning against China seems to rely on using East Asian allies for hosting. Yet how reliable would US allies in East Asia be in case of war with China? China is their neighbour, USA is not. The Phillipines are already flip-flopping and siding with the highest bidder. South Korea refused THAAD. Taiwan will probably flip once viable non-American alternatives to KLA-Tencor, Lam Research and Cymer exist. It seems to me like nations in East Asia, including Japan, might be hesitant to support the US in a war since it would jeopardize their very profitable trade, and they are a lot closer to Chinese missiles than the US is. Could the US military strategy against China experience a sudden rugpull if it relies too much on local hosting?

A lot of those east asian nations are jewed and so is China from what I heard. I'm not an expert of Asian affairs but Japan and the Philippines are most likely going to be reliable. Japan is basically a us military base and heavily kiked. Even though the Philippines has talked about the ending VFA(visiting forces agreement) it's been all talk with no substance. The presidential elections in the Philippines are coming up and the president said hes going to have people call in about whether or not they want to end the VFA. You also got to remember the CIA a has base in the Philippines and the U.S. has interfered in Filipino domestic affairs. They had gotten that dictator in power back in the 50s.
