This is speculation, but common sense.
With Gamestops success being broadcasted on the news yesterday and the stories going viral, everyone is going to hop on to AMC tomorrow because its only about $20, but doing the same shit GME did.
Broker accounts take a few days to process money transfers, and banks are only open during business hours while most people that have money to burn are at work, Also, Friday is the most day people get paychecks and people dont wont to wait until the big day FRIDAY when the contracts are up. So wire transfers will be a hassle for alot of people.
So what does this mean?
Everyone is going to be selling what ever is in their portfolio, because they will get the credit instantly to their account, so they can purchase AMC and gamestop!
This will cause alot of stocks to fall in value due to rapid selling. Imagine everyone cashing out their amazon or walmart stocks to buy AMC or GME! It will deflate like a baloon.
By the time people get the $1,400 stimulus checks AMC and GME will be to expensive or possibly not valuable, this will cause people to go on a buying frenzy with all the low prices!
Just my thought, anyone else see different?

This only works once (and maybe not even once)
Stock exchanges are businesses that make money from having an orderly market. When things like this happen, they put in automated halts to stop it from happening. This already happened after the first "flash crash"es. Stock exchange software will not allow a stock to drop suddenly flash-crash style. Trading in that stock will be halted (for ten minutes) if it tumbles.
It is no way in a stock exchange's interest to allow this kind of thing to go on, and they can easily prevent it just by setting a new trading regulation, prohibiting raids or meme-trading. There are already a lot of stock-exchange rules a huge amount of signals you are not allowed to trade on.
Stock exchanges make their money from market-makers and funds paying their fees day-in-day-out. I'm sure NASDAQ are already drafting rules to give shit like this the flick.
They could even just kill retail trading if they wanted.
Or market-makers and hedge funds could move their liquidity to other (better regulated) markets, leaving retail investors with no liquidity (which of course, big funds would not allow to happen - they would regulate to woo the liquidity back)
Sorry to be demotivational, but you cant win.
