This app is P2P and not stored on a cloud or anyone's servers, meaning that the messages are only visible between you and the recipient. And the only way you can retrieve the data is if you were to access the phone that had the account info on it. It also allows you to use the app without internet, has a panic button and a lock button. Unlike other centralized apps like Telegram and Signal, which are currently being touted as the end-all-be-all of privacy and security, this app goes 100% overkill on everything. Plus it's open source and the APK can be downloaded above.
